yer they look pretty sweet but there is 1 from supercheap ( i know its of no quality) and it looks pretty mean.. its open at the front with mesh.. but i would also like to have that mean look of a group a scoop!

Hey mate, when you painted your cluster surround did you use plastic primer for it?

i've attempted to do 2 now and they have both gone all blotchy and shitty and the paint doesn't stick - even though i used the same process on the centre console and it came up great. (wash, wax&grease remover, plastic primer, colour, clear)

nar dude i didnt, just gave it a clean up with some metho, might help it stick a bit better if you do a very light coat first and let it dry and then do another very light coat.. then it should stick a bit better. im just about to buy all new dash parts and do them very slowly over a few months. mine isnt as good as id like it to be as its my only car and i had to put the parts back in to drive it to work..

Sorry guys Been Really Busy Lately! Working Heaps Of Overtime Atm, Just Got a Nice Raise To So I Can Cranking On The Car! Need 2 New Front Tires Atm.. wheel Alighment Went Out And Scubed Out Both The Fronts.. Nice $400 Bill Coming MY Way haha..

To all you guys who are attemtping to paint interior plastics, all primers have a chemical release process. Even though it may appear to be dry, it may not be ready for paint. If you apply paint over primer while this process is still occuring, you will never achieve a good finish.
