It Was All Done By Me And Im A Still Going, Only Interior Done So Far Ill Continue To Update As More Stuff Goes In!

Try Not To Critisise to Harshly, This Is My Style!
And Iv Only Just Started Got A long Way To Go...

















Here Are The Things Im Doing Right Now

Leopard Print On Door Trims! (Snow Leopard)
Red Bulbs In Dash Cluster
Black Carpet All The Way Through
Replace All Door Seal's (damn Commodores and there dodgy seals haha)
Replace Roof Lining, Dont Know What With Yet..

And on the outside

17 Inch Rims This Week
And Body Kit Soonish!

hey love the work, ive done this to my vr, different colours of course, what steps did you use and what paint? all i did was sand back with wet n dry, undercoat 3-4 coats and top coat 4-5 coats and cost me roughly $280 on paint, just the tin stuff you get from your local hardware, but not the cheap stuff, bout $10 a can, and light coats so you dont get runs aye

Hoodling hint..... I got sick of it in my 91 Calais (white one) so I ripped the cloth out and scrapped all the foam off and painted the cardboard black. Funny thing is it looks OK... LOL

I just pulled the whole dash out and cleaned it deeply with metho! then i masked off the areas i didnt want over spray on and done a few light coats waited about an hour till it was touch dry and hit it with another coat, then waited about 5 days then hit them with another 2 coats and about 3-4 coats of clear! let that dry over night and put it back in today, Although i still have to do another 2 layers on the doors and center console! but i had to put it back together as its the only car i have haha, but in all i think it was about 4 cans of black vinyl paint 1 can of chrome which is actually silver but i knew that buying!(mate had used it on his car first). and 2 cans of clear! all up about $50 and its great ay!

The paint was 3m vinyl paint and export spray for the silver..

have no idea how im ganna do the new material i have for my doors tho.. im thinking ill just get a stanly and cut around the old stuff and pull it off and get spray adhesive and stick the new stuff on, my miss's used it to stick the same sorta fabric on the counter in her shop and its still tight on there a year later!..

i did the same to mine when i had the vn dash in but i painted the cluster surround same as the vents aswell and smoothed the ashtray and lighter.
with the roof. why dont you match it with the new door trims

Yer i was thinking of matching the roof might do that would look awseme! and also im kicking myself coz the 2 options i had was black on black or how yours is there with the silver up the guts and after seeing every 1's silver i am considering redoing it! it looks awseme!

yeah i like the silver all the way down and all the little pieces silver than black.but alot are going for black these days, its good to be different, but yours is comming along nicely

Yer cheers dude nothing like yours yet, im getting some dash lights soon(red) and im hoping they will be the same bulbs in the blinkers and under the shifter..
And next thursday im getting some 17 inch rims which will make the outside alot nicer!

@ ryno_Vrx I figure its better to use make shift for now rather than just rush out and buy cheap shit when i got the money! But with saying that also id love to rip them speakers out of them sony home speakers and make some box's for em and continue to use them with the new system, Coz they do go hard lol, and lol at the $30 speakers haha bet they where distorting all over the place :P

@ mean vn thats awseme to know man im going out to get some! im ganna try find a shop that sells them first rather than ebay, but if i can there $16 for 8 globes on ebay..

@ 2die The outside is like a box of chocolates you never know what your ganna get hahahah! no in seriousness its blue with a few ding's and scratch's from the previous owner
But next week im ganna paint the bumpers black and iv already painted the grill black and the number plate holder on the back of the boot black with a silver streak in the middle, and futre plans for the outside are(little undicided on this) Either black to go with the gothic theme or white becouse it looks good and its eisier to keep clean.. Vx body kit( i know pain in the ass to fit)
Wanna get some of those fron wheel guard grills( seen 1 in meanvn's pics looks awseme) and ill see where i go from there! but ill post a pic of the outside when i make it a little neater..

level 3 cluster, level 2 doesnt have the 3 lcd screens just the tacho

thats for sure all i could afford at the time was a good head deck then borrowed a mates old amp......the speakers didnt last long something about having 1000watt 2 channel amp running them made them go pop lol

i have 4 sets of soundtream speakers

i since got anothe pair of the 6.5 for the rear doors
front and rear doors have 6.5",
the rear cargo area have a pair of 6.5 and 6 x 9s
the ones in the front are XSC6.5 i think they are top sounding speakers

you could do your roof liining or boot install like i used to have it

and my petrol tank is done the same way
