ok little update got new bumper on and making parts for my engine bay first thing on the list is a aluminium fuse box cover half done also getting another vally cover i am going to polish and then hopfully get sum aluminium valve covers

Hey guys major update time. Since my alternator caught on fire i thought it would be time to fix all the things that need fixing and more. first on the list is new radiator, alternator, coil pack leads and plugs, thermostat, New shocks alround with ssl's, new paint (jet black ), Fix the roof lining and stato dash and door trim hopfully Also electrice windows
Any segestions on brand would be great help . Sorry bout the spelling to

Ok got a new motor for my car a vn series 1 motor that has done 120xxx k's im going to convert it to a series 2 motor and i was thinking off painting the motor like the motor in the clip when its black YouTube - VN / VP Commodore Head and Cam Engine swap will post pics soon also have extractors and 2.5 sports exuast for new motor

i like the looks of that motor, looks clean, should also do the red 3800 aswell make it stand out abit more, so your putting all the s2 heads manifold on the s1 motor? dont tell me your gonna keep the s1 manifold that has to go.

gunna use a series 2 manifold and convert the heads to series 2 just gotta drill a few holes and i have rocket red engine paint in the shed so i might paint it that color with black pullys

What holes do you have to drill? if you put the s2 heads and manifolds on there isnt any drilling needed, but if you use the s1 heads and put the s2 manifold on you will need to drill a hole in each head.

I got told that i would only need to drill one hole in the front drivers head and i dnt have series 2 heads because im putting a new motor in mine coz i cracked one off mine

ah ok, nah its 1 hole per head. in s1, if you are drilling the hole, just get the manifold gasket and use it as a template you will see where you have to drill the hole. then just hook all the water pipes up like normal s2 and should be good.

New motor in with extractors and 2.5" exhaust sept motor don't start lol working on that still gotta put my ss lip on my new bumper and car is going jet black soon just gotta what for the missus to buy her new car also got a vn parts car for door trim so i can mount my front 6" speakers right

Ok update time just got a new family car for me and my futur wife so its time for a full rebuild off the seden finnaly first thing first is engine out gunna clean it replace any worn parts smooth engine bay then put motor back in then need to pull diff and new bushs and paint diff parts tanks and so on.

Can anyone post a link to a site where i can get a vp v6 serpentine belt to run without ac? and also which bushs are the best for the rear end?

ok started striping the front of the car ac is completly out now.

found a bit of a problem tho .





the owner before me must off hit sumthing pritty hard so the plan is to go to the wreckers with a drill drill out all spot welds and then weeld it to my front end
