Transmission: 5 speed maual
Engine: stock 3.8L Buick v6
Exhaust: Pacemaker extractors then a 2inch pipe through the cat into a single muffler
Suspension: cut springs( i know its not the best but its a just till i get the cash job)
Sound: Kenwood headunit, two 6inches in the door and 2 three inches on the dash, US audio dual channel amp running into dual 12 inch fusion subs in the tray.
Body: have got vx clubby rear bumper and skirts ready to go on, leather grain hardlid
Interior: Green neons in the footwell and black carpeted tray
Exterior: Previous owner painted it the colour it is now. dont know why, tinted tail lights/altezza lights

To Do list:
proper suspension, monroe gt shocks and king springs
rims either B-Boss eleanoirs or ANZ 5+5
Vs front end conversion
extractors
Roller painting it this summer (hopefully in the lambourghini grey colour)
New cat because the straight through pipe made the fumes smell like crap from behind
when engine blows change to ecotech
get ecotech engine over 250rwkw
LSD if it doesnt have it already cause im not sure
Window tint

I have had this car for almost six months now and have only just reasently started to work on it. i only have the two photos at the moment and one is wen it was monster truck(stock) high and the other has the rear bumper on, but its not quite the right colour. Im sure u can geuss wat the rest of it looks like. Ill keep you updated on my progress and what i have done

nice VG, to check for LSD see if the diff has a tag next to the filler plug that says "high performance" on it. its LSD if it does

its got a tag there but i cant read it..would it have a tag if it wasnt lsd and do u kno if it has IRS suspension

even if it does have the high performance tag on it it doesnt mean its lsd. just stronger or somethin.

If it has "high performance" on the tag on the diff it means its got the V8 Shot-peened gears and if it has "high performance LSD" then its got a LSD....

ok well i checked got the tag off and cleaned it up but its so rusted i cant read it..is there any other way i can check

It will be live axle. VU was the first ute with IRS.

find the build sheet under the drivers door and check the option codes, or rip a skid, or jack the rear up and spin 1 side and see what the other side does.

Ok update time:
picked up some king Springs SSl last week end..they are in the back only for now as i am waiting for some shockers to do the front as i dont want to have to undo the hole system twice.....
Also got myself a set of Pacemaker extractors.Previous owner painted them orange and they look siik..not in yet but should be in by the end of next weekend

soooo ive ripped a few skids now and some are twinies and some are single spinners......any ideas weather that means i have lsd or not

Worn LSD most likely - my VG does the same

have a look on the diff head there will be a tag that will tell u LSD or not

Just got my car dyno's last week with the Proutes crew...ended up with 122.9kw which im happy with considering I just broke 300,000 kms....If anybody has a ute they should join proutes cause they are looking for some more members, nice bunch of people
