Default project EPICVN (back from retirement!)

    here's my pride and joy that i cant seem to let go.. Originally white, started as a stocky run-of-the-mill 3.8 auto. Over the course of 3 years ive so far changed;

-AERO front and rear bars, ?? sideskirts, and a Hornet bonnet scoop
-Custom 'olivine' paint (green with subtle gold specs)
-17" chrome 5 spoke rims wrapped with Maxxis MA Victra i-pro rubber (now on my daily VT)
-Reco'd 3.8 motor with cam (not sure on specs) attached to a 5 speed manual box
-Extractors, 2.5" straight through system (with hotdog end muffler lol)
-70mm throttle body, with custom made airduct/pod setup from the scoop (got told by mr. plod to take it off 3 times, the 4th time i conceeded lol) so now a 70mm TB with the stock airbox and K&N airfilter
-Larger injectors, new fuel rail and lines, new pump and filter, and flushed the tank (that wasnt cheap!)
    -Engine and ECU tune
-Pioneer sound system, nothing armageddon like, but quite punchy
-Custom home made rear parcel shelf
-Custom window tinting (by yours truley)

Some mods i got where a bit of a waste of money... but thats trial and error for ya when ur learning :P
Ive had the car for 6 years, did all the mods and driving for the first 3. Coincidentally, i stopped spending money on it when the missus came along, and got sick of the blues slapping a yellow sticker on it everytime i pulled out of my driveway! so it went into retirement in my shed for the last 3 years, and yesterday i pulled her out, and im gunna spend a lot more TLC and (hopefully) money on the girl over the course of the next few years, hopefully to be back on the road once again!

These pics arent current but i shud get off my ass and put sum up.. spesh the ones of my rear window and rear door windows tint job

    Window Tinting i did..

ergo the 'EPIC' part of this project... my dream was (and still is) to have a LS3 6.2L Gen4 under the hood, 6speed manual. By now your probably laughing at this... but i had the figures drawn up from Echuca Performance and he nutted out that i could get the crate motor and all the other bits, the gearbox, and make the necessary modifications (with engineers cert!) for about $20k. give or take a few hundred. So for 2 years i dedicated to saving atleast $200p/w, and i had nearly $14.5k saved up in about 1.5 years all was goin good... then for the STUPIDEST reason not ever known i let the missus convince me that it was ridiculous spending that much on my car, and used every cent on a house deposit
    She obviously doesnt understand lol

But in short, a V8 is definate!

I wasn't laughing at it. Take a look through my build thread dude, if you DIY it's fairly straightforward if you're good with spanners and have somewhere to work, and can be done for a bit less money
