I sunk my 4wd in a mud puddle and water got in and wet the carpets, we hired one of those Britec steam cleaner things from Woolworths and got the upholstery attachment with it for an extra $5, brought the carpets up a treat, cleaner than they were before i covered them in mud. Failing that moulded carpets will set you back $150 or so, just put new carpet in

EDIT: post up some more pics when you can

they work pretty well, by no means as good as a pro clean job but they come up good if you take your time. I use a stiff scrubbing brush and spray the hot water on, scrub the area im working on, 30cm squares are good to work with, then once you scrub the dirt out go over it with the attachment and suck all the dirt and water out, repeat if required. To get a good job it takes time, but its worth it, works well on seats aswell. Matt

Those Britex machines are awesome. If you get you're prepared and get one early in the day, you can do your house carpet/upholstery too. It's always amazing to see the colour of the water they suck back up, and how much cleaner everything looks when you're done.

Depends what the roads are like around you. The roads here are crap so I wont go any higher then 17's cause the holes and shit just destroy the rims.
