Thanks mate
Yeah, But they are yellow D:/ Ill get the lip whenever i can find one
aw man! does that mean i have to check this horrible Vp section for my lols?
Just bought a set of Green and black VY SS front seats for VPC.
Picking up sunday
Got new tyres for VPC now.
rears are 245/50/16 and fronts are 225/50/16
Will put them on when i get center caps and wheel nuts
Looks pretty tidy on the outside. A lot better than that other (no offence) shit box you have.
Are they the same wheels you had for sale, they look like they cleaned up well if they are, and suit it well. Or was that VKJonno, i always get you guy's confused.
Best of luck with it !!
Cheers, yeah, a big upgrade from POSVKC
They are the same sort, but i had genuine clubbys, these are mockup's.

Guards are rolled. Only scrubbs a bit when i hit bumps.
Thinking of flairing the guards like zeuz did
This weekend we all dropped the trans out, Clutch & fly off and found that the rear main is fine, Its the sump gasket. Clutch is rooted so picking up a newie in about 2 hours, Bellhousing is full of oil and the sump gasket is rooted, Also the back sump bolts were finger tight.
D3CID3R also started on the stereo, About 15kg of wire alone
Got bored and took off the rest of the S badge.
Mischa took off the actual S badge using a whole fishing rod on the weekend, and just then took off the sticky bit.
Look what ive got:

Thats a pretty nice find! As for reverse crunching thats normal. The T5 has an unsyncronised reverse. Meaning when selecting reverse all youre doing is sliding a straight cut gear (idler gear) in between two more straight cut gears located on the mainshaft and laygear, causing both to turn in the same direction. So if youve just stepped on the clutch and straight away tried to jam it in reverse while everythings still turning, you naturally get a crunch. To stop this either select any other gear first (usually 4th or 5th) or hold the clutch in until everything stops turning. I can hear mine when it stops, and go again if I let the clutch back out. Dunno if thats normal or not could just the input shaft bearing wearing out lol its not really that noticeable though. Then if you find it wont go into reverse, with a small amount of force hold the stick towards reverse and gently let the clutch out. Its just the idler gear wasnt aligned with the others.

Cheers mate..
Ill try that next time. What i do now is depress the clutch, release & repeat slowly a couple of times when its cold.
I should probably just learn to reverse in the driveway next time for a cold morning start.
Looks good dude, wish i could fit 245's under the arse endlol
I cant. LOL, Scrapes alot, But going to re-roll the guards & possibly flare them a little

Thanks mate
Just as we started with the seal swap:
The amount of mess we made, But it is all clear now (:
Under car, Basically how it sat most of the time
Interior, Worked on the stereo at the same time:
Wonky exhaust:
And new clutch, Unwrapping it was like xmas:
Then we took the car for a test drive with the 245's and a car load, bad mistake, 100m up the road is all we got, rubber up the guards, smoke coming out the guards and this:
And now just a quick shot from the other day:

Opinions? Mudflaps are gone, trolley strip will also be gone with handles?
What do you guys think?
With SS kit
Maybe a bit overpolished:
