Red face My new VN 304ci 5 Speed Manual Commodore

    Hey guys,
Got my VN the other day and very very pleased with it.

It's a VN executive 304ci V8 5 speed Manual. Everythings pretty standard but paints started to fade.
    Engine and gearbox really smooth.

    Mods:
    Extractors,
    Ramflow panel filter,
    Advanti Mags (17/235),
    Alarm,
Aftermarket exhaust (Had loads of complements about the sound)
(Pretty damn sure the motors worked as it's one hell of a V8)

    Future plans:
Full service and tune up in the next week,
    Tidy it up a bit,
    After market sports steering wheel,
    Gilmore drive belts,
    Panel and paint.
And thats it for the time being. Till I can afford to tweak the motor plan to one day go forced induction.

    More pictures to come

    Mike

Doesnb't look too bad. I'd get a new set of the smoke coloured tail lights and a VR non airbag steering wheel.

Nice, where did you pick it up from? tidy for a VN.

Now you got a V8 to take on the NZV8 Reclaim the City Runs. I wont be there this month, but hopefully have my HQ and the Father in laws VK all back together and going again by the November one.

Thanks, Yeah, Enjoyed the last cruise, So I'll be there this Friday for sure. Got It from Napier $3500 when I was going up to get it, I wasn't to sure what to expect but over all Im more than happy with it. Insurance and petrol's a killer though.
Yeah I plan on doing that to the tank but noticed its got a dent in it, so may try get a new one and spray it before it goes in. Oh and that steering wheel... Argh I hate the thing haha, sooo ugly At the moment Im in the process of sanding back and polishing up the engine covers, is looking spot on so far. Mike
