BRAKES Dba slotted all round
SUSPENSION: ultra lows all round
FUTURE MODS: not too much, just keep it the way it is,

this is all i know so far,will be picking it up next friday will post up more pics then.

How much for? cuz i found one a few weeks back and the lady said she would sell it to me when she bought a new car. Also i love areo's evan though many consider them ugly i see them as a fair tuff looking car

yeah the badge isnt covering anything, it looks like its the backing has sliped away from the badge.

brake booster(already have)
gas convertor to be removed(done)

radio to be installed.(loose wires)
drivers seat to be fixed properly.(missing a couple bolts)

it looks like it with some of the stuff it has but id say its a mock up( my thoughts anyway, there so hard to tell.) will get it to holden to find out

does it have a hdt build plate? holden probably wont know squat, call hdt themselves, see if they still have records

Yeah, Looks a bit like a kitted Berlina (going off the level 3, power windows, mirrors and sun roof)

If its an aero, as Hakky said, It should have a build plate.

You'd think Aero's would have more supportive seats

All AREO's were VN or VP purchased and sent back to HDT most were VN belina's and calais and some VP, some were also SS' thats why there's the odd 5 speed AREO (my mate had a grey VP 5 speed AREO). they all got fitted with recaro seats tho, how ever its very strange that you have the wheels there so very rare. Also if it was genuine its should have a build number?? and ID plate in the bay. About 130 made too. here's the HDT site but it doesn't comment on the VP's so I might be wrong there

200kw motor would be a tell tale sign if it's real too!!!!

hard part is its had a new 5ltr put in so guesing if its the 199kw motor is hard unless its dynoed. there is a part in the bay near the air box that looks like a plate has been removed.

i found in the engine bay rivet holes and a outline of where a plate should of been, so its interesting,
also i have to buy a new cai as the one on the car is cracked.
got under the car and gave the tank a clean and new coat of paint
vacuumed inside and cleaned the seats up(will need another clean on the seats)
cleaning up the bay abit too and found this.it has a switch on it manual/auto.does any one know what it is, im thinking its the thermo fan controller.

the sill covers i have had for 2 yrs packed away new never used and i put them on ebay for 80 bucks. they didnt sell and all my other chrome engine bay bits, so then when i bought the aero i put them on that,
with the MEANVN plates there sold to someone else now, i sold them b4 i picked up the aero aswell, but i lucked out i would of liked them on the aero. but i will be getting something like AERO V8 or similar.

the HSV ID tag is onthe drivers side behind the washer bottle's but I dont know if your HDT tags were in the same spot. good luck sorting it out, if it had an engine swap i doubt it would have another 199kw motor there rare as rocking horse sh*t

yeah i dont thinkits a real one, the tagmust of been a gas compliance tag, since the gas tank was out of date the whole system was removed and i think the tag was removed,
