Well as you can probably notice, this ute is stock as a rock, has had no work done to it although it has been very well looked after has had minor paint peeling and small amounts of surface rust, on most panels, the interior is amazingly clean, the bloke i bought it off was my mates father, who had the car for around 7 years, and he was the 2nd owner, when he bought the car, he decided to change the front end. After all he is a holden wrecker he had the parts at his finger tips, and didnt cost him anything.
Although this ute is going to be a very slow progress, its going to be a enjoyable one thats for sure, ive never done a ute before, and i am looking forward to making its body look good, fix up the service rust and etc. Ill do a small list of stuff i wouldnt mind doing and maybe see what you think of it all.
Stuff To Do:
- Bucket Seats
- Dark Window Tints ( 5% on Rear, 15-20% all round. )
- Single Din DVD / MP3 / CD / GPS Head Unit
- VP Calais Steering Wheel
- Maloo Body Kit ( not sure yet )
- Blue Dash Lights
- Subwoofers - not sure where to put though
- Twin Pipe Exhaust Tip
- Clear Tail Lights
- New Tailgate ( Ding in current one )
As you can probably tell its not going to have much engine wise, as im waiting to finish off my p's to do anything big or maybe swap to a different model ute, but after building Skylines, Silvias and VLs i felt like something abit different, and im loving it
Will upload pictures soon as they are on another computer, hope to hear some feedback on my ideas as i keep you guys updated. ( dont kill me if this sounds bad but its my first build thread on this forum )
sounds like a good ute mate! need photo's !! haha
If all else fails HIT IT WITH A HAMMER !
