In the end the look im going for is just nice clean kinda simple looking im gonna go with stock statesman wheels with white walls its not going to be slammed but just super lows its never gonna have big wheels or stickers on the windows or anything stupid like that.

A few days ago i realized my stateo sounding a bit diffrent me thinking the ive smashed my cat or something but turns out to be a broken o2 sensor. has anyone ever had one snap clean out the headers? just seemed a bit odd for to be hanging snaped out.im also looking at getting a new exhaust. is 3inch to much? in the end i want to do mild headwork cam maybe roller rockers and a few othere things. or am i better off just getting a 2 1/2inch. anyways what do yous think of me statesman?

nice ride mate, id get a new 02 sensor pretty quick, as for the exhaust, a single 3in sounds pretty good on a 5ltr, might be a lil big for a standard engine but gives you room for improvement for head and cam work, shaving 30though off the standards heads will boost compression and is a good way to waken up a tired 5ltr a bit, good luck with it

Called up supercheap auto today they want $160 for a non GM o2 sensor didnt think it was going to cost that much. Dose anyone know where i can get a GM o2 sensor form? if im paying that much i want a genuine GM one.

Yeah just tryed ebay but the only seller with them wont sell to me becuase of unpaide strikes. Im still wanting to know how it just snapped of. Dont want to pay that much money for it to just brake agen.

changed my o2 sensor today never thoght one little sensor would make such a difference. car runs 10x better and sounds better 2. heres a pic of the old sensor.

Well after thinking of selling my stato i changed my mind selling my old vp was the biggest mistake i ever made and if i sold my stato selling my vp would have been my second biggest mistake anyways ive put on a new accelerator cable on rebuilt the throttle body taken of the gay inch wide wheel spacers and rest of the cruise control out.

Well i was getting sick of hitting every speedhump on the road so im changing the springs from v6 ultra lows to some v8 super lows but what started out as a simple spring change has now got me a whole list of parts i need.
And i havent even really looked under the back yet but im thinking i need around $2000 to finish it then after all this hopefully go for a rwc then rego.

Something in the bottem ends stuffed i say big end bearing the oil looks like its got glitter in it.
I would just fix the engine but the cars been in a crash befor and had dogey repaires so the front ends not strait so its not worth spending money on it when nothing lines up and i need a parts car for my wagon im buying.

The engine and gearbox has always had problems but what happened was i put my foot down in first and it didn't change and hit 6500k at that time it was still alright but later that day i started it and it was making a loud clunking noise checked the oil and sure enough little bits of metal all through the oil but im not to fussed im getting a 5speed v8 vn wagon.
The future of this stato is yet to be decided.
