this is me showing the start line whos boss

just me in burnout comp sorry about the angle on pic its taking from screen shots of a vid on my iphone

again

after burnout comp was bit diserpointed i didnt wreck paint to much

temp gauge about 30-40 mins afte my burnout LOL think i got a bit hot

rubber wrapped around my diff LOL

bit of engine oil and coolest mmm loks like yummy soup

$585 worth of tyre ($195 each tire) i dont like new tires so i fixed that

haha they were one that were going to go on my "street car" that ended up race car haha i found some were i can get $70 ones now for burnout coz i race on my 18's

got sick of the grayish bumpers so painted them black while the sun was out makes it look a heap cleaner will post pics in few days when my phone plan starts a new month as ive gone over my data limit.... does any one look at this thread? should i post pics?

I check this thread regularly man. Good work on painting the bumpers, would love pics. Maybe change the thread title to "Jonko's VN V8 burnout machine" or something that will get more peoples attention lol

well i got another iphone so ill post a few pics.... i havnt taken ant pics of out side of car since bumpers were painted tho
well today i got a bit bored and thought i might do a bit of weight reduction sop i ripped the sound deadener out (who need a quiet car any way)

well i got a few pics of the car today between rain showers (car is dirty) aint the best pics because there taken with my phone but it shows the bumpers painted

That last pic makes the paint look mint. You need to lower it, take off the sidestrips, repaint the calais stockies and use some tyre shine. It would look tuff as f*ck. It's coming along nicely though man.

lol i did have it dumped real low it almost tucked stockies lol but it dont fit on trailer as it is now it also just goes up on car trailer becoust of my exhast lol and the calais rim i only got 1 of them i just collect rims and tyres to go smash doing burnouts lol but yeah it doesnt look to bad in that pic it was covers in dirt and crap from the rain

well bit of an update is in order i think (if any one is watching this thread) well today i made up my own air intake bit of a contraption but hopefully it make a differance

the easyest way to show you's is to post pics
first i started off by cutting a hole int the metal bit under air box

then i cut a hole in the air box and wacked some pvc pipe in there

then i put some expander foam in there

put stock air cleaner in there and cut bit of the end off (for now)

and now the odd part of this set up. here is the pipe under ther car (before i painted it)

this is were it comes out of bumper before i trimmed and painted it

after i trimmed it and painted it then put light back in (car will be getting a full paint job soon)

and the pic of what it looks like (i used a vr v6 air box thats why its of a dicky angle) dont mind wires ill explain that in my next post.

ok so if you was wondering about the wires sticking out thats because i relocated the egnition and also got rid of the cruise control (i dont intend on cruising

) because i intend on putting a catch can there and kind of sinking it into the gaurd
ok now for the pics well the first pic is the last one on last post of the ingnition and cruise

this is were i put the ignition after i took aircon and gas stuff out

and this is it after ignition relocated and cruise well who needs that any way haha

yeah i thought seems every one says put air box on coz pods are crap i did lol suprisenly i cant hear it sucking (maybe coz i cant really hear much else when running... it doesnt look to bad just need to colout code it all the one black lol

Not a real good idea painting inside the PVC piping but it is a burnout car so why not i guess,

The good old times using a Chisel and hammer on the deadner haha fun times and blisters when i couldnt find a hammer

haha yeah dont think ill take sound deadener out again was a pain
