Well, no news really - he's got a V8 now, no need to compensate with a supercharger![]()

it has a new gearbox and no supercharger. thats about it really. still driving it around at times. v8 is still slower than the v6 was though

Less power maybe, Slower maybe not. You forget that the 5 litre has traction
the v8 sounds faster, but i can just tell it isnt. from a stand still, it takes off easier with less wheelspin, and even if im cruising along and floor it, the vn was quicker. for now anyway

Ha, first time ive read through this thread, well I flicked through it really, very nice ride, sorry i'm about a year or two late :P
haha thanks. only update now is that the supercharger has been completely removed. did that yesterday. its been off for a few months, but i still had half of the mounts still on there, and coil packs were still on the wheel arch. thats fixed now and its pretty standard except for a ****ty pod filter, until i find my old airbox. havent even stuck a sv3800 tune on it yet. might burn one tonight if i can be bothered.
i still plan on putting the VN SS spoiler on the back, removing the twin exhaust and headers and putting a standard exhaust on it
