Smile Love ya car stocky

Man ur car is sick, i just got a Vn Berlina, not many mods yet just a K & N pod filter and saving for my stereo.
I really liked how you painted your console, was that hard to do and get you buy spare ones ?
my console is a bit rattley and lose so i have to get that looked at.
what are some of the first mods you think i should do to get my car looking as good as yours?

Chris

well i would have to see a pic of yours to tell what mods you could do. i would suggest a new wheel, it will really make a difference to the interior of your car, and the level 3 dash cluster wasnt too hard either, and its much better than the level 1, although it can get a bit pricey.

the console wasnt too hard. theres a few threads about it on the forum already, thats where i got the details about it from. didnt buy spare ones though, just the used the original that i had. if yours is loose just take it apart and check that all the screws are on tightly and nothing needs adjusting.

its not too hard removing the centre console. removing the stereo and gearstick surround is easy. for the handbrake part, you gotta open the console and take out the two screws at the bottom, then pull it out, and try not to break it.
here is the thread i followed for the painting part - My 1995 VS Commodore - [For Sale]

well to remove the old headunit, go to this guide - Installing a Stereo into a VN - VS

that will help you remove the headunit, and the surrounds. the rest of the console is removed by unscrewing the two screws on the bottom of the console box.
