    Default ashton's,series 2,t5,vn ss..

    thought id start a thread on here,i have a vn ss,ive just had the whole car resprayed,with all the holes deleted in the engine bay,all smoothed out,an also the batterey box built up as the same as the other side,still abit to go,heres a couple of pics of the bay,an some parts will post more pics next weekend when it gets home...enjoy.

    That battery tray came up nice...I'll try remember it for when I eventually respray mine lol. Keep us posted on your progress

    Looks clean and smooth mate.. Are you moving the battery to the boot? Where did you get it sprayed?

    are ok!! when u are planning on having over $10,000s worth of engine,driveline,ud expect a couple of tachcos on the old girl....just uncase something was to go wrong...

    yeah mate battery in boot,wiring hidden inside the car,it should look good when im done,i got it sprayed in Ballina N.S.W...got the whole car sprayed plus a few extras ill post a few more pics when i get it home on saturday,an thanks for the interest in the old girl mr calais5.0

    Nice work in the engine bay. It makes all the difference when a bay is done properly

    How is the engine bay going to be when everything's refitted? Stock or hidden?

    yeah mate,everything hidden i cant wait till its done,will just have a big shing 355 c.o.m.e ttb,with a procharger (maybe),or a wipple not sure yet...with all my other bits an peices,still along way to go,but thats all the fun hey...im just getting into the body,because im perdantic everthing must be clean as,or replaced,i really have a good eye for detail,which helps.....

    yeah mate,the painter decided to paint the firewall an tunnel black dont no why,but there fixing it as i write this..
    when i get it home ill get some pics up of it in the sun,it is a really nice colour when its a fresh paint job...

    got some news peoples....All my stuff that i sent away to be chromed has arrived back,an man did they do a good job....heres some pics...enjoy
    i got my bananas done aswell as well as some other stuff,but im having trouble loading pics,ill try later...

    alright,the motor is in,know just to finish the bay off,an some of the interior like the hoodling,an the rest of the body it's mainly back together,just a few small things...here's some pixs

    but in the first pic, on the passenger side rocker cover, is that a gap between the rocker cover and head?
