So, took the car in for a roady test, which it failed. But the list is incredibly easy to fix, so jobs left to fix before it's roady:

    Fit new rear pads
    Fix LHR Light Wiring Loom
    Fit link pin bushes
    Fit brake hose clips

Gave the car a bit of a birthday:

    Superclose parkjob

Had to buy a new ABS rotor because non-abs doesnt fit the ABS ring

The lip that the non-abs rotors dont have

ABS Rings are an absolute pain in the arse to find. Spent a good 3/4 of a day on the phone ringing around trying to find them, nobody had them, could get them. Finally found some at Holdent problem is they knew how hard to find they are and charged $110 a piece for them. Didnt pay that much though

    Then today, this happened:

So, now this car is in my name almost. I gave the interior a real good clean today. Cleaned the carpets, conditioned the seats.

And now thinking about sound system. This is what i have to play with:

    Kicker 120 Watt 6" Splits - Speakers - JB Hi-Fi - Smashing Prices!

Sony Headunit with USB 3 RCA (In/Out/Sub)
    Kicker 6 inch front splits
    Kicker 6 inch rear speakers
Kicker 12 inch sub in box with amp (shown)
    Kicker 4 channel amp

Now, i want to fit this into the VQ, also would like to fit dual 12's in the boot instead of the single. Kicker have a boxed set, dunno how it would fit in the boot of a VQ. And also looking to get a dvd headunit, that can do the same stuff my other one would (USB playback)

Anybody had any experience with Jensen? They have one at Repco for $499, which has the 3 RCA's etc etc, but dunno anything about them.

Soundsystem guru's to the rescue please!

Jensen is pretty poor really, you'd be better going brand name second hand. Single DIN fold out screen from Sony can usually be had for ~$600 brand new from WOW, second hand you could get $350 for a single din fold out
