Howdy all,
thought id post up my car
its a 1988 VN Exec

mods include:
SV89 Bodykit
sv3800 spoiler and grille
VY SS 18" wheels
3" lukey exhaust
Pod filter
lowered
lpg
reco engine (last one blown)
VP lexcen/berlina interior
VS steering wheel
tacho instrument cluster
VS carpets
Pioneer Pro coaxials in VS door pods
pioneer 6x9s in the back
JVC MP3 deck
blue tinted headlights

in the next week or so will also have
eclipse sub and 2ch amp

i'm also thinking of adding an sv5000 esque red stripe around it to give it a bit more character

i'll get a photo of the headlights, altho i reckon they show up more of an icey white colour than blue.

yea they are just the globes, sorry to get ya hopes up mate!

i dont have many more interior pictures.. its pretty much stock standard anyway. The only difference is the seats, steering wheel and speaker pods.

is it 5lt or 3.8? 3" exhaust? wouldnt you lose a fair bit of power? when i got my exhaust put on i was going to get 2.75" but they said unless it was turbo or s/c it would be all noise and go like a dog, so i got 2.5 instead

its a v6 with a 3" exhaust. i know its too big for it, and am in the process of changing it over as we speak.
the reason its on there is a picked it up for nothing - at the time i thought it was a pretty sweet deal, a 3" lukey system is a lot more appealing than a stocko system. But yea, now the loss of power and especially the noise and DRONING have really gotten to me, so the exhausts gotta go!

compared to the stock system, the 3" system still had more power

i know what u mean with the droning... when i moved from nowra,sth nsw, to qld i drove up and i had no stereo... i was going nuts and felt very light headed when getting out of the car.

got the rims fair cheaply.... my old man's a car dealer so i got em cost price. can't say how much im afraid.
