Could always go a t350 or t400?

Sure you lose 4th gear but you know a shitload of places can build then bulletproof (as apposed to the t700 that has a lot of guess work with who can build it)
And at 100km's you will probably rev at about 2500? (assuming you have 3.08's)

i was thinking about that too need to price the adapter kit to fit it up to my buick though. and who can build them.

Ebay US has them for around $70each, we grabbed a couple of them a few months back. Cannot for the life of me figure out what they were called, were from some speedway store and they were for chevy v6 to chevy v8, despite the chevy 6 and the buick 6 having different degree engines they share the same pattern for gbox

and a couple of pics of it mocked up on the spare series 1 manual engine for the VB with a cough chev v8 flex plate that fits on the crank perfectly LOL

bit of an update. Have a set of vt seats that i am going to put into the old girl for a little bit more comfort. maybe put some 6 inch speakers in the door if i get keen. will put pics up when done.

Well it looks like charters towers dragstrip is the only place to race as townsville dragway is now closed for good so ill be seing this thing in action soon enough your drag strip needs to hold meets more reg i think

finished the vt seat install. came up well.

Quick update. car is off the road with a stuffed turbo. Oops. what not to do to a turbo.

Car is all good again. Went to the drag strip on the weekend and was happy with the results.. Still running a 3.08 diff center i pulled a 13.3 at 108 mph. Just need to work on reaction time and getting my 60 foot times down a little.
