Default MY VP BITSA ( bits of this and that )

Had my VN stolen and written off so bought the wife a new car and inherited her VP. Was as stock as stock can be when i got it 2 months ago very clean family car but as stock as you can get. 165000K's ( not bad for 93 )

Lets see since then i guess the first thing is the VX type body kit, i also had a new VN bonnet so on that went scoop and all. New monroe shockies new lowered kings springs ( low on front super lows on back ) new 18" wheels and new rubber ( rolled the rear guards ) pod filter ( looking at CAI in future but i like the sound of the pod ) Nice new woodgrain steering wheel ( much nicer than the original VP one ) memcal chip ( now goes through gears nice and smooth i find ) New extractors and 2 1/2 exhaust has a nice sound ( not to loud but just enough to hear over the stereo )

    Things left to do

new rotors and brake pads ( just got to get around to doing, need to do soon though ) was also looking at supercharger for a bit of extra VROOM the transmission needs servicing but thats about it. I prefer to just cruise around in it rather than flogging the **** out of it . Oh the aircon compressor has siezed and the alternator is on the way out

Was thinking about rear spoiler of some sort , i have a VP SS and also VN group A but like it without was also thinking of debadging and removing boot lock but thats another day.

Looks absolutely fantastic mate, I reckon go for a lip spoiler (like some of the fancy pants Holdens have), discreet but has presence..

    Good work man

well by the numbers i guess no spoiler. Which was what i was leaning towards ( dont want to go over board just leave it as is ) Thanks guys and i agree with taking off badges will get that done when the other half gets her car back from the panel beaters ( why i brought her a new car i will never know )

She cruises very nicely now with all new gear under her well worth spending the money for the better stuff. I didn't want to go to low as i work where there are alot of speed bumps so went for low in front and the super low in back with low shockies ( a must for super low springs )

Any one in Brissy have an alternator or aircon compressor for sale

badges easy to remove. Being the keen angler i am, fishing line does it just fine. just use it in a sawin motion. motion in the ocean mate.

Those vents look a little too low down? Maybe its just the angle. BTW good luck with the door trim, hope it comes off easier for you than it did for me hehe.

What charger is it? Nice VP man

Yeah a very neat SC setup, It must breath some life into the old buick especially with that tiny pulley you got on the front!

It is a little lower than yours by the look of it but the pic is also a bit deceiving as i was above the car. Will get another photo on the weekend.
I had the idea of the guards litterally a day before i saw the pictures of yours and that just proved it to me.

It is the SC 14 Toyota running around 7 lb so just a nice little bit extra go

Not bad either on car insurance. Only $600 per year for agreed value of $9500
    so happy with that.
