and im changing the garnish from red to crystal so that the tail-lights dont look out of place..

randomhero365, why don't you just change the taillights back, put a Calais garnish on, anything. Those lights will never look anything other than rubbish.

i like them tail lights, i dont think theyre rubbish when i see them on other cars..
but i guess its just personal preference, aslong as your happy with your ride it dont really matter.

no I havent priced the kit up but i would probably expect anywhere from 1k to 1.3k fitted..
but im not really sure, im not clued up on the kit prices so ill research that when i get closer to it.

Oi man, on your VP, rip the boot garnish off, and spray it the same white as your car. Makes the tail lights look HEAPS better. Check out my old VP, i colour coded the garnish and it looks a tonne better. Looks weird with the red garnish and those aftermarket tail lights:

This will be a brief post as I am a newb here, I will go into more detail in a few days and take some more pics and vids.

My old car was a sweet sounding but battered looking VH SLE, that I plan on garaging and restoring in a few years, when I have a lot of spare cash, it was also suffering from quite a few mechanical and money issues, the transmission was playing up again the radiator was leaking, the alternator wasnt doing what it was supposed to and the rego was due..

Anyway, long story short, a work mate who also rides a motorbike decided it was time to ride the bike more and part with his beloved VP, we went for a test drive and I fell in love straight away.


With the VP, not the guy..
