    Default My VP Sedan

Here's my recently purchased V6 92 Model VP Executive. As far as I can tell it's all stock except for the steering wheel and the rims which are 17's.

I would love to hear from you guys telling me what I could do to improve her with physical as well as power.

Power: Cheapest and best start: exhaust and cold air intake and k&n panel filter
Looks: looks nice how it is, the bigger rims would look better, not quiet sure if u like the spoilers but id take the rear spoiler off, (Personal opinion.) clear oval indicators (selling on ebay cheap)

What would I need to do to the exhaust? Replace it?
What will the cold air intake and K&N panel filter do and where do they go? What would they cost?

cold air intake (think ) it gets colder air from outside car, well it sits on top of the radiator grabbign cold air from the front of car (do a search CAI and ull see wot i mean) and the K&N filter is less restrcitive letting more air flow through.
the cai kit costs about 50 bux from holden and the K&N filter costs about 100.

the exhuast get a Cat Back system cheapest way. pretty expensive about 300 + mark i think

Yeah you're right. My Bad! The day after I picked the car up I checked out the tyre size, and I could swear they said 17 not 15. Oh well, that just means more money to spend on the car.

I know it's been a while but I thought I would post an update.

These were taken just after she had a hose bath. You will have to forgive the mess in the background as these pics were taken in the garage at night.

    Model: 1992 VP Executive
    Colour: Metallic Sapphire Blue
    Engine: 3.8L V6 stock
    Engine mods: K&N Pod Filter
    Transmission: Automatic
Exhaust: New rear end with new exhaust tip
    Suspension: All stock
    Brakes: standard
    Rims: 15" Advanti
    Interior: stock, sports steering wheel
Other mods: de-badged, removed rear spoiler and boot lid & replaced with new boot lid, replaced stock side mirrors with colour matching mirrors off a berlina, painted outside door handles & door moulds.
Future mods: Lower, VY or VZ bodykit minus rear spoiler, 17" rims with 40 profile tyres, cold air intake and remove pod filter, new head unit and speakers, add VS door trims with speaker pods, perhaps colour match the console and dash.

I finally got a Cold Air Intake of ebay and is now installed. It will be receiving a coat of paint the same colour as the air box so it matches.

VS Dash conversion is almost complete. Painted Dash Fascia same colour as car and will also paint the centre console pieces soon. Just need to finish up the wiring and will be complete.

If i where you i would leave the CAI black it looks nicer, also there isnt much gap on them CAI so get a hair dryer or heat gun and a small block of wood and heat them up and push the wood in so it will make the opening bigger, i cut mine back to the ribs and then opened it up more with a block of wood.
