cheers for the replies guys, yeah i was lookin at panel filters the other day, i might go for one of them instead of becoming a ricer lol. yeah im already planning to dump the arse end of it and get the windows tinted. needa save a bit more for mags after that. Already ordered the base of my audio stuff off of ebay

Pioneer 4x50W MP3/WMA headunit with detatch face etc
    Pioneer 6x9 420W 4way in the rear
Pioneer 16cm 3way 260W in the front doors.

plannin for a sub and amp in the future.
while im on the subject, how do i go about wiring it all p and mounting the speakers? i hate speaker mounts, they look ugly all poking out everywhere!

ok, thought i resurrect the old vacationer thread and bring it to the top..

since the last little comments on here, i have got all the striping removed from the sides and rear + a cut & polish, came up an absolute treat, car looks 100% better.

gettin a CAI soon, quoted $95 at my holden dealer today (whole intake kit including new airbox bottom and all the mounting bit and pieces) so ill go down and order that next time i remember

been looking at mags lately and im havin trouble deciding, while i was at the holden dealer i got him to print me off all the VY series mags that were made but they didnt come with part numbers, just pictures in black & white. if anyone has got pictures of mags from VY commos, can u please post them so i can have a suss in colour...

off memory, the ones i liked were 17" 5 spokes in shadow chrome. spokes were kind of like a wedge shape with the fat part of the 'wedge' on the outside of the rim....

i also got all my stereo gear installed specs are:

    TS-A6981S 6x9" 4-Way 420 Watt

    TS-A1681S 6.5" 4-Way 260 Watt

    DEH-P5750MP Head Unit (50w x 4, MP3, WMA, detach face)

    GM-6100F 4 Channel Amp 600W MAX (60W RMSx4)

    Aerpro 6GA 4 channel 600W wiring kit

    TS-W300R Sub (150w RMS)

    goes pretty good for $1700...

anyone got anything at all to say, please do, been hangin out for a good chat coz none of my mates at skool know anything about cars, they just say my cars good because it goes doof doof

they're the only pics i got atm, theyre off my fone so they are a bit dodgy but u get the picture. ill take ones of the whole car when i get hold of mums digicam

went to the local holden place yesterday and priced some VY mag packages, some start at $900 for 17"s and come with tyres so ill havet to look into that i rekon. cheapest i have seen here in lincoln is $1000 for 17"s without tyres

i got green lights now too (interior, parkers, glovebox) got bored so i grabbed a pair of plastic sleves from repco for $2.50!

ok, well i decided to flog mums digicam for 10mins after i gave my car a good wash. (decided not to waste a good day)

thought id take some updated piccys with the stripping removed and just generally while my car was clean.

while i was cleaning the engine bay, i noticed a nice little surprise, turns out ive got 9mm prospark ignition leads! any opinions on these? coz i was thinking of upgrading to topgun but mmm if its not worth it ill save myself a few bob.

one more thing im thinking of doing and i need peoples opinion on is painting the rear garnish to match the colour of the car, i hate the big red strip accross the back, i think its the worst part of the car. if anyone has pics of this done before (preferably on a white car like mine) can u please post them up or email me them

any comments bout the pics would be appreciated

    Cheers
