vn burnout car

here is a few pics of my vn skid car i got this car off one of my mates he has had it for two years and not one bit of maintenance done to it i got it two days before the burnout comp ( had time to cig the diff , remove rear brakes , change oil and filter , flush cooling system out ) it lasted all of a 1 min before throwing two rods out the side of the block got it restated and back to the trailer (the bloke in the car in the pic is the old owner as we tried to get it to fully stop but did not die after 5 mins on the limter, got back home and it starterd first try and still got a skid out of it in the drive way at home)

the burnout comp was at casterton in vic its about 4 hours from melborne its a once a year two day drag meeting they get about 250 cars ented for the weekend drags and 30 cars in the burnout comp

I have been flat out working to get the vn ready for this years burnout comp (had a lot more time to get ready i only had 2 days last year to get it ready) doing some panel work at the moment making it look sweet , removed the fuel tank (the old tank had a large crack init ) , putting a fuel cell in the boot with surge tank with up graded fuel pumps , welded over the fuel flap hole on the quarter for the smooth look , should have the motor ready to go in with the twin thottle body set up and we will have to see how it gos will puts some more pics up soon
