    Smile I Like My Vn

This is my Holden Commodore VN 90/91 Series 1.

Its had quite a bit of work done to it, so much that its not really worth mentioning, no really engine upgrades, just all the sensors, sender untis, pumps, etc etc have been replaced with new parts, not because they where faulty as car only had 186,000K's on it when bought 1year ago.

There are a lot of plans for this girl, so keep an eye for more updates.
Here are some pics, hope you like.

PS: There are a lot of mods, maybe not visible to the eye, but things like the 15" pursuit rims, that have been professionall powdercoated with metalic grey type paint, exhaust system, interior upgrades, color coding of exterior and more..

ATM it is undergoing a disc rotor, and caliper overhaul with the VT set being put in.
This car is also having some cam work done to it soon, so that will be very exciting.

    Hey,
I got Kings Heavy Duty Lowered Springs front and back, 2 inches lower than standard city ride height. I changed the rear shocks to compensate but left the front ones as they had just been replaced and really dont have to be changed.

Yeah, cheap head deck, but very reliable.LOL

That sounds interesting, I wouldnt mind hearing more about this potentiometer, and how is it triggered cause atm, i have a switch with 10 positions and I am using 4 of them, I have used a transistor to mix the blue and green to get turqois, but thats about the limit of colours i can get. Wouldnt mind a few more, like purple and stuff, just to tweak it up a bit.

And I know there are brighter blue led's but I actually found that this worked quite well as the different colors have different intensity's so can use that to adjust it as well. Plus this way they last a lot longer, and i dont have to replace them for quite a while.

Cool, yeah I got some other ones too, like the blue and red flashing cop led's they are pretty cool, gonna set them up for the imobiliser and alarm .

Can't wait to see if I can get some more colours, love the idea of changing whenever you want.......

Here is the a wiring diagram i designed for this mod i done, just be neat when you do it peoples, and you can use your existing bulb holders as i done and just moded the led to fit in them, that way you are not physically altering the dash's printed circuit board.

Will pull the dash out again prob tommorrow and take some pics of the inside as I was too keen to get it back together.

    Cool Recent Update

Ok, I did this last night, changed the graphics on my dash, customised it.

Didnt go overboard, just wanted to give it a sporty feel, I think I acheived that, gonna make a few more designs for some friends but this is mine.

PS: Let me know what you's think, I couldnt warrant buying the ones over the internet as they are very pricy, and why when it can be done at home by any Tom, Dick and Harry!!

Sorry Hozy, but I am one step ahead once again. Not a problem at all as I have used the original plates as a backing, so it all works fine, but nice that you are lookin out thanks anyways....

yup, its still the same at night time, so all is good!!

Gonna changed the lights the same as the bottom lcd colour so it will sequence the whole lot, should have it done by next weekend after I get back the overhead transparency sheets I am using for a multilayered effect.

Can't wait, it should look sick!
