First Car: HSV VP Calais International

Hey All,
Thought i might fill everybody in about my car.

Its a HSV Enhanced VP Calais International 1992 Auto

I bought it just before i turned 16, and i did pay for it dont have a rich daddy as much as i wanted one. I recently turned 17, so still have some time before i get my Ps but should be all be done and finished off by the time i turn 18.

When i bought it, it needed abit of work so i have done little things bit by bit, and finally had it registered earlier this year.

MODS.
Nice Pioneer System
Venetians
Exhaust
Dropped on Ultra Lows
Did Have VT Internationals on It (Sold them)
Monster Tacho
Stage 1 Shift Kit

FUTURE MODS.
Diff - 3'9s, LSD
Respray
Stage 2 Shift Kit
Set Of Pacies
Rims - 18" or 19" HSV Rims still undecided.

Still got some things left to do, like cut out holes in the bumper 2 put original international driving lights, the reason there not there is because when i bought the car the front bumper was stuffed, so i got a new one and never got round to puttin the lights in.

nice car is it a 8 or 6? were there no hsv 6s back then.

finally had it registered earlier this year.

did you get it over the pits easy? when they drove mine for a test run he ran it into a pole!!!

Calais internationals were all V8 wernt they. And HSV did sixes back then, the fist car they released after the walkinshaw was a six, Namely the SV3800

late update on this car:

-BMW springs
-16" VE ceptors all round sprayed black
-low profile rubber

car was straight swapped for a VS S1 Statesman has:
-gauges on the bonnet
-20" elanors which have been sold and is now ridin on 19" Senator Sigs
-5 speed manual
-leather int.
-very tidy car



cars gettin a full exhaust put on today. and soon to have all the bugs cleared from the manual conversion

i would've kept the calais only because its rarer

its got a different dash in it (white dials) but legit K's i think 180 xxx mark. when you give it a rev you can tell its a healthy engine. i dont got any pics of it with the sigs but hopefully by tuesday night ill have a few pics. but to give u a lil satisfaction of a stato with sigs, drool over this... my mates car
