this is my ride...its a 1991 vn lexcen. its definatley a work in progress. its totally stock. as you can all see. but hopefully with my job and saving it will be able to represent its name...'the beast'

tell me what u think. and give me a few ideas on what u think. the only thing i have done to how can i say it 'customize' the car is the inside. with the only thing i could really do. plus i thought it would be kool.

constructive criticism would be good. im only a poor little 16 year old...LOL

What are your future plans for it?

my future plans are really broad at the moment. i have so many ideas. but limited $$$ if ya know what i mean. i wanted to start out with the basics you know like exhaust and CAI. get some nice rims. but i dont know what else really. i mean like u said it has to start somewhere but i dont know where. i know how its going to look though....hopefully. i really want the vy clubby front and rear with the grp a sideskirts. but thats a long way away. i ned to get it on the road at the moment. then start stuff like that....

I started out with a scrapheap VN, it's getting there 2years later.. Still dont have exhaust or extractors........

Got an induction noise that scares people thinkin my cars `charged lol...

I thought the lexens had central locking? Oh well....

Looks good so far mate, just keep at the little things that you can afford, and worry bout the bigger things later! It'll come together eventually.

my car is a holden.....has everything a holden vn has except the badges......at least that i have come by so far.....dont be telling me different or i get aarrrrgggggg..

other than that...i am going to be saving up for rego and other rwc but i do want to be doing little things in the mean time.

debadge it and nobody will know its a lexcen. it will also make it look smoother. i started out at the same point as you are with my vr. it was a complete stocker. im still 16 though and im not really getting older as quickly as i would like to....

yeh like old mate above me said debadge it and if you want replace them with holden badges and nobody will know the differance its good to see you got a good project and keep us posted with what you do

yeh i did debadge it. i dont know if i will put holden badges on it though. like 94vrexec said it looks smoother. i just fixed the window wiper squirter things. lol. it was a massive job (not really) now im just trying to find the fuel filter.....i found a new one under my house (the garage) and i want to put it in. but i cant seem to find it. does the vn have a fuel filter...??
