ok guys...thought id do a bit of an update....well since most of the things i had planned for my car got done, i got bored. i now have a CAI, hsv tune, removed bellmouth, lowered the rear a bit more (front is going to get done), adjustable panhard rod and also put a set of 17" internationals on it! i sorta scrapped the manual conversion idea as i cbf doing it. im gonna lower the front a bit more once i get the shortened strut inserts in.

    heres some pics

well heres another update...my 2nd auto died in the ass...was slipping and all sorts of crap. put up with it for a while and decided i needed something that would last, so i bought a new gearbox with less km's on it which has a stage 2 shift kit, corvette servo and a kevlar band which were all done less than 5000k's ago. I put it in today...and i ****en love it!!!!! shifts are amazing!!!!

next on the list is most probably and LSD and a set of gears...either 3.7's or 3.9's.

yea i do actually...have a mate who lives down there

anyways, since were here, a lot has changed. so heres an update.

ive sold the internationals and rolling on ceptors till i decide what rims i wanna get, fully rebuilt my motor with new pistons, rings etc, and got a manual for it too because another auto died on me. all this should be done by next week. copped 2 canary's in 2 months for being too low and all that crap so now its at a nice reasonable height. also, i got epa'd whilst being canaried for too loud as they tested it on the spot and copped a $567 fine for that. and thats about it really. just a few little other bits n pieces...will get some pics up soonish.

i went through a defect station and the epa was there. whilst i got canaried, the epa dude came up looked under my car and said it had to be tested and they did it on the spot. (i had 2.5" catback with mid muffler and a hotdog and custom twin 3" tips - sounded pretty good)

recorded 101db on the meter and legal was 95db. i wrote a letter stating my reasons and situtation and basically they didn't take it into any consideration and i copped the huge fine and had to get it cleared and send the results to the EPA etc.

oh lol...i had the 2.5" system on it with 2 mufflers and i bought the exhaust 2nd hand(redback) and the rear muffler collapsed. im currently a full time student working 1 or 2 days a week so money is a bit of an issue. so i fixed it the cheapest possible way but i didnt want a straight pipe so i got a hotdog instead. i explained this to them but they probly didnt give a rats and i copped the fine. ah well, what can we do!

Yeah, pretty much unfortunately in the eyes of the law, if you can't afford to keep your car compliant and rwc, you can't afford to drive

that sucks george! The fuzz have been out in force the last few weeks, i've been pulled up and hassled in my wagon, hit 2 booze buses and was hassled last night on prinny when me, steve, choonga and vince were standing around having a soft drink at a servo lol.

$537 if a ***n joke, for an exhaust being a bit loud. like the earth is going to stop turning for that shit. How about they focus on getting violent offenders off the streets, like whoever hit up the poor bloke up the road in my street that got stabbed last night (on the news).

arrggg nasty pod filter!!! lol.Glad to see thats gone... that last pic taken at night looks awesome, Int rims look like their in immac cond, should whack some tyre shine on, i'll never clean a car and not do the tyres, makes a massive difference i reckon..But yeah looks nice man..Are your plastics and rubbers around the window faded like mine? Im thinking of touching them up, and doing the fuel tank and straps in black, although i might get a tank from the wreckers and do it properly, rather than ****ing around with the one on the car..Oh yeah, where are the sub pics? did you remove them or something, i went through your whole thread, there were comments about them, but i didnt see any pictures..

Yeah it suck man, i've started making the wagz more stock.

On the note of rims, i'm pretty sure i'll be selling my spare set of 18's pretty soon fairly cheaply to help fund the last of the stato. 18x8's, 5 into 10 spoke rims with dish. I'll show em to ya at some time
