I wanted to keep this car origional but the engine rebuild cost would be too much ($$$$)

ok the new motor is in the car...its a HSV VS statesman motor with 98,xxx k's

and i put the 18 inch ANZ vapor mags from my vnv6 on it
also ordered a new VNSS front lip for the front bar

personally i reckon it is a very nice colour and if it had a full grp a kit it would look killa,

why are you stripping the gold one? You should of got the statesman interior! would of looked mad in the vn!

atm it will just be a VNSS kit with a bonnet bulge, rather spend my money on the motor this time

and springs will be changed to coil overs later on.

nah the HSV sv3800 interior will suit the car once its done..i will never sell those seats now that they have been retrimmed

ok ive finaly got the vnss front lip(ordered it 8 weeks ago)

so i'm getting the whole front bar resprayed

Also put in the retrimmed HSV seats

And have some King superlow springs to go in soon

ooooh its gonna look tough as with the new springs and seats!
How long are those springs? (inches plz) because i have some pedders at home and want to know if there the same as supa lows.

here's the pics of the resprayed front bar with vnss lip
its made a huge difference to the look's but i dont know if i'll add the black stripe like it was b4

Very nice mate!

Looks much better with the bumper lip and sprayed. Stuff the black stripe, I usually say put it on, but in this case I think it looks better without.

Just keep the original engine, and then you've always got a spare engine if you needed, plus, I'd say the car would be worth more if it was to be sold, with the original engine.

Also, which wreckers was that (if you're in melb) What body style was the HZ next to the VS you got your engine from?

It has made a huge difference as you said, maybe put the black strip on to match the rest of car, and colour code mirriors will look hot. good work.

yeh. i like the look of it without but vn clubbies came with it and i want this to look origional... so i proberly will put it on

cause some basterd stole the vn clubsport stickers (scrached the panels getting them too)

there not there but i've been to HSV and i can get new ones
