Default My 92 VQ Staesman Series 2 5lt

    Hey Guys

This is my 92 VQ Statesman Series 2 5lt

No mods as yet except a 3inch straght through which has to come off so i can get insurance (bloody insurance company ) but am replacing it with a 2 1/2 inch high flow exhaust very soon

    K&N Filter
    6/9's-Boss
    12 inch sub-Boss
    500 watt amp-boss
    head unit-pioneer

Paid $3500 un regerstered but is pretty clean inside and out and has had a bit of money spent by previuos owner(freind of mine ) to get it running smooth only got it couple days ago but will have mods to come.

Tell me what ya think and any suggestions

    Cheers

looks pretty clean mate. tint looks the goods. would sound nice with the straight through system from cat back.

a few ideas would be some nice rims, lower it, clear side indicators, remove the series 2 badges from under the indicators and fix the dint in the rear bar then it would be a very nice example of a statesman.

really depends on prices from wreckers and whose selling them on ebay. keep you eyes peeled.

digital aerials take away the aerial and motor and where the plug goes from your head unit instead of into the aerial motor it goes into a little box that sends out radio waves and picks up radio signals. these can be bought from dick smiths jaycar etc.

20's are sweet but tyre prices are ridiculous and you can only fit like 215 width tyres on VN/VP/VQ I think...

I went with 19's mate, they'd look bigger again on the VQ because of the peice that goes over the back wheel arch.. Cheapest tyres I can get are $240 each so keep tyre prices in mind! I aint lookin forward to replacing them Plus you can fit 245 width tyres on the front and rear with most 19's... maybe even 255's

18's look big on VN/VP/VQ and tyre prices are cheap in comparison, but 19's and upwards really fill out the space
