ye i got ultras in tha back, fkn ****s me, still not low enough! ye i no i gota do tha fronts, just cbf, i made my mate by springs months ago n did his rears but neva got round to doin his fronts, cbf, so cbf doin myne aswell
i go to pick up tha otha two rims in a couple of minutes, im a little bit excited! lol

Got sum new stezza bits, got a nice tax back so i went n got a couple 2x responce 1000wrms linkable amps and a alpine Xtype 12", got it runnin at 2ohm on strapped amps pumpin 1800wrms into the sub. Nice price coz i work there.

After about 1/2hr crankin the sub sits ona nice hot 80deg n amps idle on about 45deg.

Atm its inverted in a 1cubic ft box, but a new 40mm 60L box is being built atm, should be nice n dead n bloody heavy bro thinks about 40kg

Aint really done anytink to the car, havnt even washed it in months, just been thrashin it round been costin me a bit coz ive let run down for a bit, had all new radiator, bcm heater tap n sum other minor crap break on me latley.

Havnt done a oil change in like 20000km or 3months soo that needs doin asap, but rego is due.

Will have sum pics when i can get a pc that will run nokia pc suite n not crassh so i can get the pics off my phone.

Just put sum new pics up on p1, will have sum pics of this box now it has been plane'd n fits up the back.

Prob make a vid of it she got a fair bit of excursion. Shreds newspapers pretty fast thru the port.

Yeah SS lights are sweet, lost the first pair in a smash, took me a month to track down sum more with bezzels for insurance job.

Just gotta get the switch n wiring harness to get em running.

I ended up finding mine at a holden dealership was sooo stoaked when he said he had sum.

Soo need to get sum mags for mine, can get 17's pretty cheap thru me dads work.

Just dont want to get any coz then i would have to put this camber kit thats in my boot n i dont wanna have to do that, pain of a job.

Aint really done much to mine, got new sub n amps with tax, just got one of the mono's swapped on the w/e coz it keeps f'in up goin into protect.

New one cranks first time ive heard the X distort was nice.

Had a looky at urs b4 she lookin good, good to see she still in pristine condidtion n that ur lookin after the baby, mine's turnin into a thrash car but im still tryin to keep her all good, but been 25,000km since oil change

Eh my stickers are holding up good, lost the border on 'say no to emo' but still good.

hey remind me to show ya a pic of my rear tweeters i reckon u will like how i mounted them but yeah looking gd only thing i reckon try to stay clear of jaycar as u can get better amps to run that sub but hey thats my 2 cents u got more power than me lol though mine is a SQ setup keep up the gd work dude

I got em really cheap coz i was workin there, there ****, they go into protect all the time when crankin it.

Fried a couple n swapped em so far, got one week out of a 4x50w

I still shop there, get all my connectors n leads n stuff, but yeah no more amps n stuff.

Last night i had the new month old 4x50w playin up, signal related, would just go into protect when rca's were connected, bashed it a couple times n presto she fired up again.

Good bashin always fixes a POS no matter what it is.

Anyways id put sum new pics up coz she all clean n sub has been strapped down n carpeted in nice smicko blackness looks alot better than plain ol MDF, but i forgot to bring in my USB cable

Cheers bro, its all good now, cept i tapped a lil car up the ars, so ive got a lil bit of cracked paint in the front bar, all good tho. just needs a lil touch up.

Damm 4x50w is givin me the****'s keeps droppin into protect once she been playin for a bit, took 30min this morn, port is firing straight onto that amp, soo its stayin nice n cool, but yeah its crap soo this morning i had a nice BASS drive to work with no speakers (yay) get to work put the rca's in n its sweet, wtf u POS

Goin to putin these new h/d rca's as i think i mite have squished the old onse under the box n they mite be arching on each other n that y its cuttin out, dunno ill have to check it all out, hate pullin crap out

Sooo this amp is giving me the ****'s, dont buy a responce amp if its runnin 2ohm they dont like it.

Ive gotta test it, what way do use think would be the easiest way to find the fault.

When in "protect" i pull out the rca's n it goes back to "on" start puttin em back in n its goes back intio "protect" but not all the time, sumtimes it will for couple times, then works.

WHat im goin to do nxt time it f's up
1, remove all speaker connections at the speakers, with amp still in protect.
2, see if it goes back to on with out speakers connected but with speaker wire still in place
3, If still in protect start pullin out rca's one by one until it goes to "on"
4, once it goes back to on ill start connecting up the speakers until it goes to protect.

Gotta find where this fault is, atm, last time i was playin with the rca's when it was stuffin up it would jump outta protect once all rca's were removed n go back to it as soon as one was put it.

Mite just rip out the old rca's put in sum decent shielded ones soo they dont get chomped by anythink 'AKA BOX'

Got a feelin tho that this is just anohter amp my 2ohm JBL splits have killed, already done my h/u amp n a JBL 500w 4ch.

Found the god damm problem, bloody elec tape that goes on the body between the rear speakers n the shelf its bolted to had come off, soo the left speaker was just touchin the body n makin it go into protect.

Took me couple min to find the prob soo peeeed off it was that speaker its done it many off times, fort it was sweet tho.

Least its not my crappy 100 buck 4ch

The car is nice n clean, cant say much about the inside tho, anyone would think im a alcho there is soo many bottles in there.

Hey man.
A suggestion, cut up another piece of MDF big enough to bolt all the amps on and carpet it as well, that will make it all look very neat. And you can hide all the wires under it and the sub box. Make up two angle brackets and join it with the sub box so it doesn't slide around.

Sub dont move, its got slices in the back soo it jams into the brackets for the parcel shelf, ive got a small bit of mdf for the amp, there already mounted on that, just need it to be bigger soo it acts as a full floor, tehn ill put in sum fans n another piece over the top with windows for the amps.

Me bro did all the work on the box, just gotta get him a cut list n he will do the rest of the boot for me, for FREE
