    Cool

My car is just pretty much stock at the moment, seems everytime i get the cash to do work to it something dies.
Eg. Had the cash for Extractors then my water pump went, then the radiator cracked then the thermo stopped working need a new computer, grr
used a guide from here to change my front springs... not the best idea lol, ended up wrecking the tie rod ends and the ball joint threads. dont do it one side at a time lol, had to drive it to Jax 10km away with the right side suspension almost completely unbolted. anyway

she's got a 2 1/2 cat back exhaust straight pipe from the cat and a pod filter, future plans include some minor engine work, 5 speed manual box and extractors. also respray and bodykit, was thinking of black with a pink pearl to tie in with the interior theme, trying to rustle up some full leather interior so I can repaint black with pink trim, re-carpet in black.

    Stereo:

    JVC 7inch in-dash DVD Receiver.
    7inch Roof mount Slave unit

    Kicker 4" front splits
    Cadence 6.5" Rear Splits
Kicker 12" Square 700 Watt Sub. Ported box

Cadence 600 Watt Mono block Amp
    US Audio 4 x 100 Watt Amp

    All Stinger Wiring
4 ohm from Battery to Distribution Block
    8 ohm to each Amp

    Future plans include:

VR/VS door pods (color coded of course )
    6" front splits
Rear headrest monitors / Front Sun Visor monitors
Second 12" Kicker Sub with a Beef'd up Amp.

Just for something different, I had them mounted on the pillar and also in one of those pillar pods. I've thought of doing the whole bonnet thing but I'm not a fan. well I like them but not on my own car lol.
BTW if anyone can help me with spraying or if there are any tut's on here could I get a link please

yeah the pink started out as a muck around thing and yeah as you can see its kinda gone overboard. I'm going to upload more pics of the work I've done, I keep forgetting the before, during and after shots lol...also the camera on my phone sucks balls.

wow the work u did on the dash is impressive!!! i like that!!! what did u use for the centre console lid??? i tried flexi priming mine then putting powder thin layers of vinyl paint on it layer by layer but it still split and cracked.........also did u have a prick of a time getting the centre console to fit back in perfect where the radio facia meets the console just above the console lighter??? just below that stupid little console commodores have below the radio.........you know the bit i mean.........

actually the console was a joke to get out. the two screws in the arm rest and those two screws that raise / lower the console near the T-Bar. on the dash I spent hours cleaning and prepping the f*&^er. I used Dissol first then heaps of stuff called Prep Vinyl. then when my head stopped spinning I painted straight over it with "TautFlex" the dash is done with a brush because I saw Vn2nV's pic with his dash out...at least I think its his and I just went no F'n way lol.

I like it sorta, but cant say im a fan of the gauges on the roof. To see them you take your eyes off the road to look up so whats the point? But as long as you like it that all that matters.

It's in the best interest of all owners of VP Calais that you set fire to this car immediately. How do you sleep at night?

you could try putting some silicone on the back (obviously it would be permanately fixed) but it would stop the thing falling out!
