Nice ute mate, good job on the turbo. How much power is it making? Good luck on the future mods.
estimated 180-200rwhp, enough to roll a VS clubby from a rolling start and a current stock wrx. untuned, no fuel reg and stock injectors running 5 pound
dont see many vp utes around
and especially turboed v6 ones

Very Nice Vp,great mods,luv the race wheels, I think after A Malpassi Regulator,Walbro/ MSD Fuel Pump Upgrade,some gears in the rear, haltech ECU and open up the heads a bit the good old 3.8L will be sweet and something not too mess with

Nice ute!I got the same turbo setup as u and was wandering wether u ever get the same problem as me with the air intake pipe popping off the Throttle Body???

i did, i used silicone and some good clamps, by the way where have you plumbed the BOV to?

I haven't plumbed back the blow off vavlve, just into the amosphere atm. I hooked it up to the fuel vaccum, doesnt go off when i rev it then back away, so tapped a thread into the throttle body and hooked it up there, but didnt make a difference, so hooked it back through the fuel vaccum, and ran the boost guage through the throttle body.![]()

yeah i plumbed mine in with the boost controller to start with and yeah it was popping off every time i gave it a boot.
Seems theres a few turbo VP's going around

hey LowVp, have you had any troubles with the passenger side extractor flange where it meets with the y-piece where the turbo sits?? Mine just keeps blowing out the ****en gasket everytime, really annoying. Was thinking of making a bracket for the turbo so it is supported elsewhere, like on the motor or something...?

nup, i did mine up with a rattle gun, only trouble i had was the flange at the flex, it kept blowing out there so i used 2 and a metric ass load off blue maxx rtv and made a gasket / rtv sandwich
Oh ok... Any one here need a trans/oil cooler?? Just bought one on ebay, but realised i dont really need it... paid $81 for it, youse can have it for $70 + postage...
