The rattle was the plug between the air box and the ignision thingo. (big grey one) The plug was tapping the air box and the sound was getting into the cab via the door front pillar area. Driving us made for a while. Did the usual thing and kept taking things off the VN until the rattle stopped.

Also put some lube into the window winder as this was making a racket too.

Almost have 2 VN's with no rattles. Almost a record me thinks!!!
