I started to go down that route but finding a decent LH/LX is actually far easier said than done. Strip out a VN/VP and you are not that far away from a LH/LX weight anyway.

Yeah, If I get the go ahead with the VN 5L then I will strip it out and pull the donk and GB out, rebuild the engine slowly to Foamspec cam etc, stick vette servo in the tranny, ultra lows all round and some nice oldschool rims.

The VN 5L project car has been sold for $500 to a family friend, so I missed out. Bummer, was really looking foward to that car.

What injectors are you running and are they the same as the stock ones?

Stock V8 ones, they are 601's I think. The ones I had in the car originally were a different number, somwhere in this thread the numbers are posted. Apparently the ones in their now flow a TINY bit less then the original ones I had in there.

Update for my own personal records, put castrol 10-50 oil in about a week ago.

Nar the other oil was fine, just that i had a crap washer on my sump plug so it lost a bot of oil and needed some topping up, so I decided to just do the oil.

Ahhh good was hoping ud say that mine needs toppin up 2 n i have the same oil as wat u had, was thinkin of just using the same stuff but was also recommended 2 try somthing else but didnt think i needed 2 just yet if there wasnt any reason 2 haha
