I dont see any difference with a v6, I cant see any way apart from putting too much in and hydro locking the engine? I used Redex, if you cant find that then Nulon should be fine.

Don't bother trying to fit a VR-VS CAI snorkel as it won't work with your bonnet style (VN-VP).
Still use the standard V6 base (and yes you can get your lid to fit) with the little forward facing snorkel (like your one but no where hear as good) and put a hole in the bottom through your guard like the SV89 did and then out the side and down to under the radiator fit a VN-VR V6 inlet pipe.
Here are some pics of mine, just factor out the OTR snorkel, I have a VN GrpA lid fitted to mine.

Thanks for that man. I wasn't gunna fit the actual OTR part but try and use the air box part of the OTR pieces. I thank you for showing me your setup, it has given me the idea to use a V6 inlet pipe to get it down towards the road. I intend on making a fully sealed CAI with no breaking in the engine bay so I would eliminate the stock snorkel of the V6 Base piece. The hole in the guard isn't an option for me because I don't want to cut or put any screw holes anywhere that shouldn't have them :P

Ta Daaa, and here is my design. I printed this out and made it out of paper and folded it together then trial fitted it. Fits quite good. Now to buy some GI sheet and bend it up.

Does this go between the bottom of the airbox and behind the headlight, like a super large version of the ****y little factory front facing snorkel.

looks good mack, im thinking about making my own alloy airbox to solve my CAI problem but i cant weld alloy with my puny arc
but it dosnt have to be weldedjust joined somehowand i suppose i can go silicon crazy to seal it, but the plastic box just wont cut it for me i reckon
