Repaired the tail lights, dam Holden and not joining the earths properly. Like having tail lights that are not affected when I turn the headlights on .

Got my spare engine moved on sat, sitting on a crate now with wheels I can now say I've got a crate motor! Although it's a stock Buick, For now...

Its not too hard to do, it involves pulling apart the globe holders and soldering the earths proberly, as there just pushed together and as a result make a high resistance joint.

I might do a how to on that to later this weekend or next if you want, im sure heaps of VN owners on here have the same problem.

Got the car back today, now with a LSD and 3.45 gears

All the bearings including wheel bearings where also done.

I can feel it take off a bit better already altho i got a 1500km run in and then get the oil changed cause the LSD got rebuilt, but then ill take it out on a run.

Before gears and LSD, first run i done turned out to be the best:

    0-10 km/h: 0.67 sec
    0-20 km/h: 1.36 sec
    0-30 km/h: 2.02 sec
    0-40 km/h: 2.61 sec
    0-50 km/h: 3.28 sec
    0-60 km/h: 4.36 sec
    0-70 km/h: 5.03 sec
    0-80 km/h: 5.86 sec
    0-90 km/h: 6.73 sec
    0-100 km/h: 8.23 sec
    0-110 km/h: 9.51 sec
    0-120 km/h: 11.09 sec
    0-130 km/h: 12.51 sec
    0-140 km/h: 14.19 sec
    0-150 km/h: 15.95 sec

    Elapsed Time

    60': 2.96 sec @ 41.9 km/h
    330': 7.17 sec @ 90.7 km/h
    1/8 mi: 10.60 sec @ 116.7 km/h
    1000': 13.54 sec @ 133.2 km/h
    1/4 mi: 15.99 sec @ 148.4 km/h

    Miscellaneous

    Max Speed: 150.1 km/h
    Max Acceleration: 0.50 G's
    Peak Horsepower: 117 rwkW

Will have another run after the diff is run in.

I own an 1989 VN S pack with a T5 5spd manual, and i totally love it!! I installed a billet shifter in her aswell, shortened the gear shift, and she drives great.

Fully recommend you go the manual, also fully recommend you spend the cash on a billet shifter aswell.

It's fantastic and LOADS fof fun too

No we took the diff gears out of the boot remember? We nearly forgot to put them back in the car next morning? But yeah i was in the car too, and out of the limited runs we got in, there was more to be had from an improved launch, which we didnt get down pat. Plus i dont believe your g tech troy
