hey guys n gurls..most people know who i am , but if you dont, my names kev, and i drive a vn.i thought id post it up again, as it got deleted...ive spent a lot of time and money on her and i love her to bits.. the engine goes pretty good and the car is pretty clean overall. its nothing insane, but at the same time, its certainly not stock,lol... nuff said,

Neat VN mate. Not too sure on the black roof, maybe if it was gloss black it might look a little better. But it looks good either way mate.

yer i sprayed the black roof with pressure packs. it came out pretty gud. im not a sprayer by trade, so a bit experimental. the reason i didnt clear coat it is because a few days after i sprayed it black, a next door neighbour decided it was a good idea to kik a footy over the fence and smash onto my roof. it ended up leaving 3 nice big dents in my roof. if i clear coated the roof, it would just show the dents even more, so i decided not too. im getting a full respray soon , so ill get all the lil dents and imperfections on the body all ironed out. until then, ill put up with a semi gloss roof.lol. still looks the goods i rekon i have a habbit of putting my money towards the engine etc rather than cosmetics,so theres lots of things wrong with the car anyway. so itll all be good once i geta respray..

Hey mate i knew i recognised your car.. i saw you drivin round at easter nats lol. I kept lookin at your roof cause i thought it looked awesome. I like your car, not real keen on the bonnet scoop but yeh i love how the roof is black, its somethin different, keep up the good work!

cheers for the comments guys! yer, its funny, all the work i have done on my car, and the most talked about thing is the roof,which cost me 40 bucks in paint.. lol. it was just a random thing i decided to do one friday night.. looks gud tho as far as the scoop goes, alot of people tell me it looks ****. so im used to it by now. i just did it because its different . i think the groupA bonnet bump is butt ugly, and seeing as every second vn you see driving around has one, i figured i would whack a hornet scoop on instead,lol. ive tryed to stick with a tuff look with the vn, rather than a try hard gangster mobile with 24' chromies. not really my sorta thing. but at the same time, everyone has different ideas or what tuff is, so each to their own

Hey man love the car. The black roof really sets it off, something different but looks good. Would look great in gloss black to match the other black on the car too. Like what you've done with the parcel shelf too.

The bonnet scoop spoils it for me though. It may be a little different but its not good different.

cheers mate, appreciate the comment im getting my new paint job as soon as my tax return comes in. so shud look nice... ive been thinkn about returning my exterior to bog stock. stock ride height, hub caps, no black roof, no tinted lights and garnish etc, just complete standard down the the finest detail... im thinkn about it lots at the moment, ....

nice car man im just gettin into the VN/VP scene since i scored myself a bargain but i actually dont mind the bonnet scoop coz uve kinda gone the old school look on an old car i think it suits it ay, if u went with roller coaster chomies it woulda looked outer place lol it does look like a tuff V8 thats the way im thinkin of goin
