Hey guys I have a Vn SS 5 speed manual and i have just bought a Vn V8 4 speed auto wreck. The auto wreck has a brock shop performance chip and i was wondering will it work in my SS manual. i was'nt sure if there was any difference between a manual or an auto chip! any help would be great! thanks guys!!!
a brock performance chip? didnt think there was such a thing.........dont be fooled it would just be a basic remapped chip..........i dont think there is such thing as a "brock performance chip" and no you would have to have it remapped it its from an auto so it would suit your manual........different power ratios between auto and manual
Manual /Auto no where near the same ...I wouldn't waist my time or money on another v8 ecu. Ur car is not the same as someone elses. Every motor has different aspects dependent on the load, age and modifications to it .
My VN SS with a 355 stroker, haltech engine managment is tuned in real time. I have more tunning options in real time which is what u wan so you know how the car perform on load which no delco gmh ecu can do. So get someone who knows a thing or too about V8 5L and has the ability to make make max torque to power curves for the vnss .
With after market engine managment you have the option for future mods eg nos so get the right tunner and mods ull enjoy the vn ss for ever...

The Brock Shop isnt really anything to do with Brock as such.
the memcal will work in the manual without any major issues
theres not that much different in the tunes
