Default Pub's VP Executive Series 2

Well I've had My Vp for a 2 months almost now so i thought i better take some pic and make a thread. Now my VP isn't in the best condition it no show and never will be body wise there's a couple of dents and scratches and some paint fade on it.
But body and paint doesn't concern me i'm all about the mechanical side of things. Mechanically its in very good condition engine goes hard gearbox shifts well and doesnt leak any vitals.
Anyway Some Specs for you Guys
    MAKE: Holden Commodore
    MODEL: VP Executive Series 2
    YEAR: 28/05/1993
COLOUR: Blue/Green (*not sure of the exact name)
    ENGINE: 3.8lt V6
    TRANS: Auto
    DIFF: Stock 3.08:1
STEREO: Kenwood head unit, Stock fronts, kenwood 6x9's in rear, kenwood class D monoblock 1000w amp and JL audio 12 inch sub
WHEELS: Stock 15's on the front with 205's 15x7's on the rear with 225 bridgestone turanza's

Thats really just it, your stock vp exec. It has only 190.000 k's on it and i only paid $1200 for it. So far i haven't really spent much on it as money is to tight ATM. I have replaced some things like water pump and thermostat done you basic service sort of thing.
Mods So far consist of level 3 conversion including some blue leds iin the switchblocks some more leds in the heater controls and stuff like that. Stato rear seat from a series 1. Thermo fan bypass switch. New reco'd injectors and some nolothane bushes in the sway bar link pins.
Future mods include Genie extractors that I have (making new Y-pipe) NEw suspension including some lowered king springs (which i have) and some new shocks which i'm yet to buy. Other things planned are the usual exhaust,CAI, tune. I also have a spare manifold which i'm planning on doing some modding to and make something that looks good and hopefully perform a little better.
Thats all i can think atm, Anyway here's a couple of pics taken on a phone i had some of the front but musn't have saved them

looks cool. dont bother about the custom manifold i reckon, wont make much of a difference i reckon. Just get a v8 throttle body, supercharged v6 CAI, K&N filter etc.
Maybe then get a cam+chip package or a CRS supercharger kit.

Thanks Calaiscruzer. The CAI is planned soon as the suspensions done. V8 throttle body is something i haven't decided whether to do or not. Love to get a CRS kit if i saw a cheap one i'd prolly snap it up.
As for the manifold i'm a welder mainly doing tig so the manifold is a little side project i have going at work using an ecotec one i pulled out of the bin from work

Not a bad pickup for the price, not bad at all Especially with only 190,000 on the clock. I payed $2300 for mine with 192,000. How does the paint come up after a good wax? I've never been a huge fan of that colour, but then I've never seen one like that polished up

LOL morton i'm to scared to polish it might take off what little paints left The colour i dont like too much but its grown on me i think if it was good condition it would nice. I'm going to give it a go soon and see if it works but i doubt it. Also remembered another thing on the to do list is the roof lining it decided to cave in some more tonight due to my new sub shaking the **** out of the car

Yeah thats a good price, if you cant see it fading after a good wash, then a polish wont be a problem i reckon..Ive started to use " shell-cream polish", cheap and its pretty mild, but with a good shine.
HAHA yeah also its so annoying when your sub is up LOUD, and your rear view mirror keeps tilting down every 5secs..

Yeah geoff cant wait for the fast parts money just stops me doing what i want. Yeah clean up will come soon a new front bar will be the first thing followed by the dent below the taillight (bloody female drivers its got more dents than a paddock basher) then i might get a paint job later down the track.
But speed comes first well.. speed, response and handling. Body doesnt worry me too much as long as its sort of clean looking from a distance.
As for how low i'm going A guy from work got me springs he says they're yellow kings but doesnt know how low i dont mind if its not really low as long as ride and the handling is improved, plus i dont like the fully sik sideways over speed humps low.

Ah serious? A welder? I'll need to pay you to forge me custom alloy coolant and window washer reservoirs one day so I can hide them in the quarter panel ^^ haha

If you're ever going to respray it, go white. Cheaper, easier to touch up, and looks spankin' when waxed

Ok long time no update never got around to posting more about it BUT it has come to an unfortunate end with the dying on me last week and what will turn out to be its final time on the road. The car has/is been sold to a friend who will be using its driveline (well whats left of it)
I spent this last week tearing down the motor find the cause of the problem. wich has turned out to be a 2 spun cam bearings no2 and no3 infact. And its pretty bad i put up some pics hard to see how deep the damage is but its atleast a couple of mm. the other 2 were ok front is slightly worn. The mains were not too good but would need a regrind big end are ok.
All in all not a good outcome couldnt have come at a worst time with all my spare invested into a project car that may not come about
88GreenVN if your interested you can have the tags as it is one of the last vp made you told me
If anyone interested in a new boat anchor with good bores (still see hone marks and no lip then let me know

new car may still be the project atm i have no real need of a car unless it to do things on weekend and the like, getting to work is no problem.
I don't know its a hard decision I could dropped another motor into but money is tight as always and rego was due very soon (next month) and i just found it hard to justify spending so much on it.
