Build Time: Half a year

Well, some of you know my little sarga with the swap between my beloved VNSII and my new VP shell, if not, yay for you there is a thread about it. The 'ol Switch-A-Roo!! [aZk]

Well, swap went well, the car is now registered and im driving it around as happy as larry!

The cars name is 'Xavier' and its going to be my project car for awhile! I love VN's and VP's, well, not so much VN's but VP's for sure Hopefully i can little this thread with all my stupid progress i make on this puppy. Now, i have to get some pics up!

All feedback is welcome, your opionions will be noted (and some most likely ignored) post away!

Thought id post some pics up of the engine swap... AFAIC, one of the scaryest and accomplishing nights of my life... wasnt that hard either... sept when i borke that damn throttle body! grrrr!

Interiors is awsome, stil have some things to do there... alot... and everhting esle but i love xavs, thanks again.

i have to admit, my first VP was the same colour as yours, i dont know why but i cant get over her(karyn) i loved that car and it was just a stock VP, my first burnout, back seat loving, first handbrakie... then i hit some trees and regret it to know end... ah well... look after that VP mate!

IM having issues with my clutch / gear box ATM.

Im taking it home home tomorrow night to dump oil and replace with Synth ATF and adj. the clutch to add some height. See if i cant get the box back to how it felt before the swap.

Sourcing an electical gremlin to aswell.. has somehting to do with my push button start ignition as far as im aware... not sure.. il find it.

The issue with re-wiring your car is its almost impossible to guess somthings... unfornatnually, this is an issue which effects a few systems ive payed with, ill find it! hahah

I also have to get a oil filter relocaiton kit, i wanna get it now as im doing an oil change tomorrow along with the trans + filter so i figure i might as well do it then! Might to spark plugs aswell... see how i go.

Guess ill go visit hak if he's at auto tomorrow for some goodies.

And i need to start saving for the group A kit ot go on to! ahhh so many thigns to be done!

p.s. All carpet is 2 peice aftermarket isnt it?

Yeah, most to all is 2 piece... its not 100% noticable... cos of the VT seats, the way they sit, you can sorta tell.. doesnt stand out ot bad.

2 6" is easy as **** man... youll be right.

Man one of mine still isn't in 100% It wont go in I swear to god, it just continually pops back out. Thinking of going to a trimmer just to get them to get it back in

That looks mint! Interior is freakin' sweet, and the exterior has come up mint, too. Parcel shelf is original - like the design, very modern! I'm impressed. Good on ya for fitting the passenger lights properly too. Nobody ever bothers to do that!

You're game doing an engine transplant in one night. Especially with the T5 still attatched. Been there, done that, and NEVER again. What a pain in the arse I admire your spirit!

I hope you get many good years of lovin' out of that car. You deserve it Congratu-freakin-lations!!!

I may have lost my sump plug... may... so i cant drive it till i get a new one tomorrow sometime... VERY VERY annoying... its so stupid! grrr....

Once sump is plugged back up, i can fill it with oil then try and start it as im not sure if i did the spark plugs right well see....

Also, put my 6x9's in today as well... sounds good! Looks even better

Well, service went well, cars running better...

Got a new sump plug after all that, turns out my sump is bored out to 14mm insted of 12, weird...

Ummm, not much is news, havnt got the money really ot do anything cool atm, next things is tires for the 18's so im not on stockies on the rear and then the body kit and paint... so.... tats not gonna happen till end of year im guessing, not making enough money to do it atm....

Other than that........ not much, might attack boot installation to add rear compartment this weekend, its been made, just have to install...
