Boss Vp 5l!!!!!

Here's my '92 VP Executive. I bought it about 6 months ago in pretty good nick. It had 185 000 k's on the clock and was a perfect car to build on. My aim is to build a simple, tuff looking (and going) car, nothing flashy.

So far this is whats been done...

Next on this list is...

STAGE 1 - dropping the back down a little more, removing and smoothing lock and holes in bootlid (where spoiler was), de-badge, re-do interior, sound deadening front doors, tweeter pods in A-pillar, tint windows, extractors + exhaust. Aswell as detailing.

Oi man, it's so good to have another IRS VP exec 5 litre on JC I was feeling lonely, Very rare car, one of about 10 or so I think . It's the exact same setup as mine, correct me if I'm wrong but I'm guessing, factory FE2, factory electric antenna, factory power mirrors, factory cruise and factory rear spoiler. What's the build date on yours? 10-92 ?

Greenfoam - good to hear man. Mine came with everything except factory FE2. The build date was Nov 92.

Mortons is blue...this one is anthacite unless ive gone color blind?

Mortons is blue...this one is anthacite unless ive gone color blind?

It is the same as mortons.... its a weird sort of blue but i like it!

wrx884 - Good eye!! Actually my L + R taillights r both different. left is VP and right is VN. the funny thing is I didnt even notice that till the other day when I pulled them off to tint them!! haha. So its off to the wreckers to get new a new one.

Try ebay man i just got a new pair 4 mine $114 including post good thing bout that is u know the seals will last a bit longer and u wont have 2 worry bout the boot leaking lol thats half the reason y i got a new set aswell as tinting them. will u put the strips on them they look the goods hey

VR304 - Thanks man. Thats why i love the VP's. I think they have classic muscle car design. Big, V8, straight rear wheel arch etc. Thats what makes a tough looking car imo, simple classic lines, not body kits etc. She rides beautifully too and gets better and better whith each mod.

A few more things done to the car in the last week. Got the windows re-tinted darker and started on my new CAI. A bit of painting has been done also. Ive painted my tank silver and repainted the handles, washer bottle aswell as tinted the tailights and started on the interior. I'll get some new pics and post them up soon.
