hi guys, Uz all have done really good jobs on all ya cars, the only thing ford did right was circle the problem!!! ay, (nah, nothin against em its not their fault) anywayz, my car is still in build mode, and im doin as much of the work as i possibly can myself, so far the only thing i havent done myself was pull out the front window when it needed resealing....

so far theres not really a heap on the mechanical mod list but there is a lot on the "to do" list

externally, i have VN SS rear bar skirts, but just the corners, a VQ statesman bumper numberplate trim to go on, a VQ boot garnish which im tinting black (thanks to a red vn s pack i saw on here for the inspiration of tinting the whole panel) except iv got custom tailights that iv ripped the internals out of and put LED bars in the separate sections with a clear indicator section and chrome behind for the bling factor.
rear end wise one thing i cant decide between for the bootlid is either a force fitted VS bobtail lip or a VN Aero spoiler, maybe u guys can make up my mind!!!!
side skirts are currently VQ, with the silver trims and center strips from VS statesman.
and frontal treatment again is undecided whats going to stay but currently is VQ grille and bumper. (its the bumper i cant decide on, i have a custom one that i cant decide whether i like or not, again maybe uz can help)

i also plan to modify my bonnet and front guards in the form of a stretch.
Every body knows a VN has little ridges that run down the guards right, well im going to try and stretch them out, reminicent of VZ style.......

And im also in the process of making complete custom headlights too, based in the standard housing but with removal of the standard relfector.

Internally, i have and am converting all interior panels to black, including a new black carpet.
Iv stripped it completely out and replaced the bitumen on the floor and added a rubber layer for that extra layer of protection as well as acoustic foam underlay and of course the super plush black carpet.

seats currently remain standard calais issue more planned for them laterz

stereo is very much a bitsa.

pioneer head unit and four insh two ways in the dash, Alpine R type 6B9z in the front doors, Fusion 3ways in the rear deck, and two Kicker 10inch CVR subs in the boot.

Besides black and electric everything, i am converting all info panels to white with blue lighting in the dash and red lighting EVERY where else.

Mechanically, the engine was rebuilt 25000km ago, 40thou overbore, chromoly rings and thats about all really... pretty tame but tis good for torque. i have also slapped on a V8 throttle body and big bore pacemakers attatched to a fully custom home made twin 2.5 inch exhaust system that joins over the diff into a single three inch out to a four inch cannon, btw, completely STRAIGHT thru!! and is quieter than most ull ever hear.

under the body currently sits 16inch chromies wich will become my drift rims, when i get my 19z with 1st stage lowered king springs in the rear and soon to be purchased whiteline front springs to bring the front RIGHT down.

I already have a 30mm whiteline front swaybar. planned is a strut brace and lower rear springs wich will come with adjustable panhard rod.

Phew, there is so much there i nearly fell over... check out my pics and lend me sum opinions guys, thanks for lookin!!

those tail lights look pretty good mate!! but be careful with those blue reverse lights if the coppers see that they wont like them too much i don't think!

Nice job mate, looks very different. I like the headlights they do look a lot better. Theres only one thing that worried me:

You have a cannon on your car? Thats a little scary.

yea, i have a cannon, but only cause it acts as another muffler, slightly dulling the note. and besides it looks better than just a rusty old hot dog which is what it used to have on it with a rusty old chrome tip.... with the headlights, no not tinted as such, just removed the chrome reflector in em and replaced it with separate spot beams, theyre heaps brighter as theyre more focused. althou the ones goin back on the car will be slightly different to the ones in the pix . and the reverse lights are actually alot whiter than they look. the do look very blue dont they..... thanks for the feed back guys, any ideas between the two bumpers?? theyre my options but i cant decide between them. ah also feed back of opinion to the rear spoiler question too, to spoil or not to spoil???? thanks again guys

Some cool effects u'r getting there...reckon u could give a detail on how u did the headlights? if its ok, I'd like to try it meself...keep up the good work....and for my opinion...spoil it

thanks again guys for all ur feedback, it feels good for some one who actually knows what theyre talking about to appreciate the car... as i have mentiond it is still getting built and put together so ill keep trying to put up pix as i do stuff, im currently workin in the inside at the moment so ill grab a few shots n put em up next week some time. with the "projector" style lights ill put up a few shots so u can see the sort of work i had to do. thanks again..

as i have said though, the problem with those headlights the way they are there is that the low beam turns off when u hit the highs, so im in the process of reworking them into the reflector to accommodate the original setup of a H4 low/high beam and the little separate one, so after iv had a go with it and come up with somethin that works properly ill post some pix of them too....

I have a feeling thats my red vn your talking about with the vq rear with the tinted garnish lol. I like what you have done with the headlights. looks good, i tinted the inside of mine but youve taken a different approach and i like it. keep us posted

r they actually projector lights uve put inside there? which 1 has the thick magnifine glass? its a lil hard 2 tell in the pics they look like 2 round reflectors 2 me but i could b wrong? where did u get them neways? did u pull appart an Altezza headlight 2 get these?

must say ur front on pic with them in makes the car look like the front of a skyline ay not sure if ne1 else sees that tho haha looks good

hello again guys, yea, Mr "angry VN" twas your boot garnish i liked so im gunna do the same thing but with my LEDs! and again your correct with my headlights, as r u mr "WRX888", they are in fact a standard headlight on each side, but iv butchered the chrome reflectors inside them to be able to attatch three independant spotlight style lamps with one of them having angel eye rings on the outers.

im changing the pics iv got up as im full up on my upload limit so the new ones are of the newly painted stato bar and just around the car in general thanks guys, for the support and ideas

ha! admittedly there are a couple modified images, but the reason they look so bad is cause theyre taken on my phone. the hi res camera pix take up too much space...

the one facing down the drive with the white side skirt was modified as it was my first design trial for the front bar, and the other modified pic is the rear quarter shot which was only lowered. everything else is complete legit- as is.

in OTHER news, it has been decided in my budget to save for a raptor blower kit. and i also plan to rip the heads off another engine iv got and port match them to a vr inlet manifold iv also got.
once everything is ported and matched i will be transplanting the whole top end of the engine to VR as the bottom end was already built with forged flat top pistons, forged rods, oversize big ends... the usual go hard go long bits.
