My 88 VN

After checking out allot of the ride's every one else has and how sick some r, i thought i might as well post my ride she aint much but its a work in progres she's a 1988 VN exec series 1 with the v6 and the T5 manuel box. Ive had her for a few years now since easter 05 she was stock as a rock when i got her and only had 210,000k on the clock. I hope u all like what ive done ive still gotta finish spraying her Jet black over the blue/grey and adding a s pac spoiler that i have still 2 repare, I will update every now and then!!

Hey seen no1 has wrote anything here so i thought i might drop a line. I dont think the red in the engine bay suits it or black patches in the interior but thats just me.
Over all not a bad vn though.

Cheer's for the comment's!! the interior is still in the process of being sprayed due 2 time $ & wheather. and i just got sick of looking at plain old plastic in the engine bay.

Engine bay looks neat n tidy - good job - And I dont mind the red - not seen it before so looks OK to me.

Thanks 88GREENVN yeah i try to keep her clean and tidy. Ive been reading some of the stuff you've been doing with your memcal sv3800 tune very interesting i dunno much on what tune is best cause i got my chip through a old work mate and the tune was made recently by a bloke in the US but i still have my original memcal do you burn them or do you know n e one in SA who does the sv3800 tune?

hey does ur bonnet close ok with that VS CAI?
aparantly u need to use a heat gun and modify them a bit so the vn bonnet closes

I didnt melt it 4 a while (a year) but then once it didnt wanna open on me so next time i got it opened i melted the corners and opened it out in the middle with a wood block and i havent had a prob since so yeah its prob best to fodify it.

Cheers Vn2nv im pretty sure the shocks are ultima and i got the springs out of a vn spac and just gave them a respray in the blue.

anyways, i really like the red in the engine bay apart from on the 3800 bit
