hey minux, funds are a bit tight atm.. insurance is due, etc etc.. yeah she's not to fond of the hot weather, i dunno if i wanna take her out tomorrow or the next day.. damm geelong weather.. well i wanna i dunno if i can trust her lol.
only change ive done are brake pads... lol. even they didnt stop squeeking. need to get new rear discs (due to too many line lockies from the previous owner) and need the front discs machined.. gunna get a full brake service hopefully in the next few weeks.
all these little things keep popping up that are annoying.. but i guess they have to be fixed otherwise they wont go away.
Leave it with me, will get my brother to talk to his mate at ABS, might be able to get you a very cheap home job done, he did my VN(Replaced all 4 rotors with slotted DBA's and pads for $400 cash). Will see what i can organise. Overheating doesn't seem as much a heat issue, sounds like the radiator is gone. How does it go in traffic on normal days?
You interested in going up to a KK meet in a few weeks?

alright thatd be good mate thanks
the car was fine all day until i sat in heavy traffic in latrobe terrace on that 40 degree day. i was overheating too haha. ever since then ive had no trouble, and had no trouble before then. so yeah im not sure.
yeah i might be interested in going up to kk in the next few weeks.. you go up often?
just a small update.. had some problems which are now solved hopefully..
2 weeks ago the car had no spark so i replaced the coil.. turned out to be the ignition module.. so it has a new coil and a reco module.. then it had a major water leak so now it has a new water pump and hoses, which have solved them problems.. so yeah, cars running alright again. does need its 5000 kay service though, will be doing that soon hopefully.
I wonder.. why do I not have one of these cars? Although in my Lexcen's defense, the only time it's EVER broken down was when I did donuts until the power steering pump seized and the radiator split... apart from that it's never missed a beat!! 460,000 kms and still going strong
As if you wouldn't be in WA! I'd be able to do the paintwork cut and polish for you one weekend
I'm seriously thinking about selling my VR BT1 and buying an Atlas Grey VN SS manual.

haha thanks mate
gee thats alot of kays! gotta love the strong 3.8's :P
buy one, you'll feel better for it![]()
oh don't worry mate I will, just in a couple of years when it's practical for me to buy a manual. I don't want to fall in love with an automatic only to feel like an idiot and change to manual later on..
I can get a manual 2yrs from now because then I'll have had my full licence for 4 years, which is the requirement to be able to teach someone on L plates. My darling girlfriend has her Ps now but went with auto only; she is keen to get a manual so I can teach her in our own car later
As for those 3.8s, yes indeed they are just about unkillableOnly just had the gearbox done about 2 months ago. I never ever want to sell that car, which incidentally is my first car.
