My VN with VS interior.

well this is my new v6 auto VN Executive!! i purchased it for $2200 on christmas eve 2007

Specs are:

Model: 1990 VN Executive

Colour: Alpine White

Kilometres: 345,000 ( New engine soon i think)

Engine: 3.8L V6 Motor (stock)

Gearbox: 4 Speed Auto

Brakes: Stock

Wheels/Tyres: 17INCH HSV VS Senators

Interior: VS Conversion (dash, front & rear seats, front door trims)

Stereo: Pioneer DEH 2950MP MP3 CD player, 4X Kenwood 6's, Boss Audio 1000W 4 Channel Amp

Other Mods: Alarm/immobiliser, Colour-coded Bumpers, Calais Grille ,Tinted windows, Level 2 dash.

Future Plans..........
Re-tint windows (darkest legal)
dump it's ass
touch up silver trim around windows.

Since getting the car i have done the folowing:

• Painted the bumpers back to black...mmm black
• Chrome VN Grill
• Stereo Install
• Alarm/Imobiliser
• Custom Boot Setup
• XEON Headlights
• VR Series 2 Coil Pack & 13mm Lime Green Spark Plug Leads

But when i went to take a look at the car, the bumbers had been painted white so heres the car currently:










It got a overhall not that long ago, havent had a chance to get some decent pics but here are some interim ones.

Not really, get up close enough and a couple of trips on the freeway and the paints already starting to peel......

the dash and interior conversion is mint, i like it a lot, bet they was a fair bit of work ay. car is nice and clean and will look good lowered and those 18's you have in store

Luckily for me i didnt do it, i bought it like that!! i love it so much, updates the interior by a mile! one day i would love to make it a tan colour like CHEETR's ute! That **** is HOT!

im thinking about it, doing a photoshop job every now and then (Bonus of being a grapahic designer) so im still in the air about it. but it was a pretty dodge paint job to different shades of white and like i said earlier its already pealing!

Where is 2 ways Get new bumpers go all white take the strip off and white mirrors dark tinted windows ect, or Black bumpers with big rims they dont look crap like greenfoam said they are tough and is also right about being light being an exec and alot of newer commodores should watch out and never underestimate the good old VN.

Nice car! Love the interior so much.

Go black bumpers and also rip off the strip along the side and paint black under that while you're at it. Also black insert between the rear lights a tinted black. That would look f****n amazing. Lowered + 18s = kick arse tough vn.

ahh well! im a long way away from you then! yeah i bought it with the conversion already done. thats what made me fall in love with it! thank god im not the one that actually did it! too big of a job for my liking!

Did this last weekend, retrimmed the door insert as i had 4 different ones so while i was there i wanted to paint my door locks, so its now gloss black with a red tab and a silver surround. tell me wat ay's all think!
