Cheers boys! As for engine bay pics, looks basically 100% stock bar the strut brace.

I'll take some pod filter set up pics for yaz tomorrow.

And as for the RJR's, i want about $900 for em with tyres. 85% rear tread, 90% front tread. One of the rims has a small bit where the out edge of the rim has bent outwards a bit. Doesn't effect the rim at all and you can't notice it. You would just have to get it re-rolled. Other than that, the rims are 100% mint.

Sweet VP Cobez. Live the Senator front bar and skirts, the bulge is growing on me also. I think you should get a spoiler to go with the GTS/GRP A rear bar.

I was kind of thinking the same thing the other day, BUT, i was thinking because of the bonnet bulge and the big rear bar, it might make the car look like it has too much stuff crammed onto it.

I can't decide though. At least i wouldn't have to buy a new bootlid and have it sprayed, i would just have to have a spoiler sprayed. But i reckon no bootlid spoiler makes the kit stand out more.

But if i was going to replace the kit, i would definantly have Senator skirts with Senator front bar for sure. I love em.

Ok, picking up the Sigs on saturday, tyres are getting put on at 2pm the same day. Diff, gears, transcooler etc was finalised this morning, all paid for and set to go.

Just contacted Doctor Bob, gonna send off a spare chip i have in a week or so, and have it retuned for everything extra i have done to the car since last time i had it tuned, and also for everything that's about to be done diff wise etc, so i have the chip sitting there ready to put in straight after the diff and gears etc have been done.

    I'm getting excited now!

ROFL!!! Don't be a twat, when i say all paid for, i mean it's all payed for so it can go in to get done. Not payed for in full. I paid $900 for them to get it going, then pay the rest when it's done.

Cheers mate! I pick up the Sigs on saturday and the tyres get fitted / balanced etc same day, so i'll have pics up by Saturday night. I love Calais interior. I actually sat in the back properley the other day against the headrest. The rears are alot more comfy than the fronts!

Im with striker on this. $900 upfront is allot of cash advance...Im sure it will all work out perfect though!

You sure are putting allot of money into her lately. Good to see some good mods.

It's not even half of what the total will cost labour inclusive. I won't be paying another cent until i am satisfied. That's why i didn't put exactly half the total down. Let's just say they did the whole job, but stuffed up one thing. The $900 i paid, is for everything they did right IMO, they will get the remaining $$$$ when it's 100% perfect.

And if something still isn't right, they will keep fixing it until it is done. Besides, you always see the most insane vintage and newer street cars in there constantly having different things done and my cousin has had his BA XR8 ute in there heaps getting lots of things done, and the job has always been done 100% the first time. And they did my shift kit, so i trust them.

Yeah, i was going to buy a VS clubby, but bugger it, i was being picky and nothing met with exactly what i wanted so i decided i want to make this car my daily / long term project. Just getting all the usual basic stuff done. That's why i am going the diff & LSD now with the trans cooler (which isn't exactly REALLY common, but i wanted it anyway).

Next i'm thinking about getting the heads ported and polished, after i get the rockers in.

I wanna do the cam very last after i have done the minor stuff i want done. Then i'll get a cam to match what i have done.

Correct. I'm not dipping into my savings for a house to fund a commodore haha.

Maybe in a bit under a year, i'll have her resprayed and my dad is pushing me to drop a 5 litre in her. Would be nice, can pick up a clean and working 5 litre for a few grand.

It's a nice idea. but i suppose if i am going to do that, i may as well have it resprayed with the V6 out of the engine bay so i can have that all cleaned up too. There is a heap of stuff i want to do. All in good time!!

My white shifter panel just arrived too. Waiting on the blue LED globe to arrive too so i can put it under the white shifter panel.

Why bother with all this v6 work when you can put the 8 in! You know you want too! O well, its too late now.

That won't be for quite a while though remember. Not even sure if i'm going to do it. Main other major thing eventually is a re-spray in Alaskan white. WHITE VP'S FTW!!

I want to make a quick 6 first, then i'll worry about 5 litre later on.
