Great idea for the gauges!! Well done.
Spray job looks good in photo.
Put up a better photo of the whole car.
Any wheels in mind for the future?
Where have you moved the buttons too? Nice idea though!
Parcle shelf looks the goods! top effort...
This car deff' have potentiaol! spray looks good, but photos always make it look better... grab some overal shots.
Nice ride.
aZk.
yeah i will take some better pics this weekend, no wheels in mind yet, just a set of 15" mags for now, as for the buttons, ive got a vs wiper ad headlights switches so i will get around to it when i have some time
well just a mini update, car is now registered and running, got my vy indicator switch in and working beautifully, will put some pics up tomorro hopefully, still got a bit to do, but im in no rush have a few more things up my sleeve which should be ready by cruise for charity 5, but yeah might go on a few cruises and meet ups now with a half decent car, anybody got any more out there ideas to do to this car?
ok got apic of the indicator switch, not a very good pic but you get what i have done if you havent already worked it out
looks good man keep us updted!
will keep it updated as much as i can, get the wiper switch today so i can rewire all that, and actually put my gauges in, going away this weekend so not much happening, but next weekend going to keep working on my manifolds and stuff, i will add pics as i go, the worse thing about putting late model commodore parts in an old vn is that if you get stuck and ask for help most people just said i dont know you cant do it, which is why everything takes me a little while, but im just cruising
ok a long time update, pulled the vn off the road for a respray again, gauges are in just need to cover the cluster surround,vy wiper switch is in but not finished wiring up and also vs headlight switch in but still nto finished wiring it up, bought myself a house and a vz so vn is going a little slow now, missus just wrote my vz off about one month ago, so just went and bought another vz v6 auto with only 60k on the clock, not much going on now, getting married next year and a baby on the way but still always nickling away on the vn well thats the update for now will update again after the respray is done, still after some more out there ideas if anyone has thought of anything they thought would look cool but cant be bothered making it let us know, turbo manifolds are sold not long after i finished them so thats out
The VZ was a Write off hey damn you didnt have it for long did you, is your new VZ the same colour?
~ VN POWER ~ Click the scales
lol, yeah write off, na maybe 6 months, but hey it happens, main thing is the missus is alright, new one is a stock as a rock silver vz same model, year, month everything, just different colour, standard rims, not lowered, not much will be done to this vz as we have a baby on the way and a house to look after so have to keep it smooth and quiet, finally got the net on at home so i can update on here a bit more often now, did you get defected?? when my vn is nearly down shes up for sale, well actually its up for sale now but dont think anyone will buy it unless its got a decent paint job, ive got a dyno reading of 104.4kw at the wheels, got a printout somewhere, well cheers for now
104rwkw thats not bad for a near stock VN, yeah i got defected, to low, tinted taillights, Drivers seat wobbles, and he said that my tire has been hitting the gaurd at the front and it hasnt been, he said look at the tire, and i said its a remould but yeah thats the way the tire was it wasnt illegal![]()
Good luck with the new VZ how much you gonna sell the VN for? got any parts lol.
~ VN POWER ~ Click the scales
yeah i thought 104 was pretty good, no cam, nothing down internally, no forced induction just a good old vn,
that must suck getting defected,
yeah i got an alpine stereo in my new vz and a cop scanner.....oh and a baby seat....woohoo...lol
well hoping for $2500 for this vn when its painted and finished, i mean its still registered for another year still, as for parts, i have nothing left, had a massive cleanup at my parents house and everything went to scrap and tip and what i could sell sold,
i will put soem photos up again once its repainted, might have some time this weekend to get a primer on it lol then let it sit for ages until i find some more time to put the top coat on, it will be lowered and have an exhaust on it later (home made like always !!)
well thats my update for now,
cheers, nick
