Love it mate, i absolutly love VP clubbys, especially in that white.
I was so close to buying one before i got the VS but the deal fell through.
Looks GREAT, some nice mods there too, and some ambition with it.
    Keep us posted!!

**EDIT, i think there were roughly 380 produced**

Thanks for the comment. I did notice a gain from the manifold however, the car is not running right and i am in the process with trickshift (as they are not happy the way its running) of getting it right then i will be able to give you a more definite answer.

Geez that's tough! GO THE ALASKAN WHITE VP'S!! I like your list of mods man, very tidy indeed. Lucky bugger. I reckon you should get Foamy onto a tune for it if you already haven't!

    Cool car, it looks tough..
165rwkw is pretty good power from just the TTB manifold + tune, even considering that they reckon the tune could be better.
    got any engine bay pics?

I did a tune for a car with the trickshift a couple of day ago. I'm not sure if I got the afr's realll right but the guy said it improved it's go fast a fair bit. I'll know more about it later I guess if he ever gets a ratio check on the dyno. The thing with that manifold is that it will mostly only gain from 4000-6000 over the banana and maybe a little bit at like 2000 ish. _Great_ manifold for boost tho

Thanks calaiscruzer, sorry no engine bay pics yet i'll try get some soon and post up.
Greenfoam maybe i was expecting too much from the manifold, but it just feels like somethings not right and trickshift agree. In regards to it being good for boost thats good to hear as it will be getting a raptor s/c soon and possibly a blower grind cam aswell, just waiting on the raptor R to be released.

    I just bought my 2nd V8.

Love the clubby, i say don't sell it. Throw it in the shed and leave it there if the SSV is the new daily.

Only thing i hate about VP HSVs is the ugly looking grill. Single slotter is much better (senator maybe?)

HSV125, that car looks beautiful I like the approach you're taking with the mods, too. You're a lucky man to have that car! I'm jealous!

Also, V8s aren't that expensive to run I've been averaging 10.5 L/100 over my journeys last week to/from work in traffic. And that's in an old heavy Statesman. An old 4cyl car like a 1990 Nissan Pulsar wouldn't do much better than 8-9 L/100 - and really, what's the difference in six or seven litres per week if you're an enthusiast, right?

I almost did the Melb - Adelaide trip in a tank. 700k's on the first tank, then just used a little bit to get home. Still basically a full tank left.
