    Power: 145rwkw
1/4 mile: 14.6 sec and aiming for better
Exhaust: pacemaker extractors into twin cats into single 3inch exhaust
    Gearbox: 5 speed manual
    Diff: 3.45 LSD
Brakes: slotted rotors on front with standard on back
Suspension: pedders lowered springs with pedders shortened shockies front and back

Stereo: pioneer mp3 player, pioneer front splits and tweeters, pioneer rear 6x9's, bezerk 600w 2ch amp, avalanche 600w 4ch amp, and 12''pioneer sub.

I bought the car with 130,000km on it, was 1 owner and has all service books, it was completely stock and the owner had worked at holden his whole life so i couldnt knock this beauty back.

Interior is immaculate and the outside is in very good condition with a few marks here and there, ive also put in vs door pods which i think matched up nicely with the door inserts.

here are some photo's, they are not the best but when i get a better day i'll take some better shots.

Thats a good buy there! Nice to start with something that hasnt been neglected.
Wheels suit well, u guna keep them on it?
Seats must be comfy since they havnt been used much
So got any ideas for engine mods and more power?

yeh i'll never buy a done up car cos theres a big chance they've been thrashed, every car ive ever bought has been off an old person so i know they been well cared for.

and yes im gonna keep the wheels on there i like them and i think they suit nice, as for power im gonna chuck on some extractors to start with and i wanna start with doing things like thermo's and electric water pump so i can free up the engine a bit, oh and i gotto get one of foamy's tunes to give it that bit extra boost, but later down the track i will look at cam and stuff but that wont be for a while cos im saving for a house.

Very nice indeed. Just dump it a few inches in the back, and that's one nice VN Calais. Well, it's nice anyways, but would be even nicer lower

I heard you can gain like 10kw+ from just removing the metal fan, and putting electric thermo's on instead! Maybe get some vt twin thermo's for it.
Also you could get a cam for like $160 and do it yourself!

the venetians have sorta like sliding prongs on the end and you slide them into the roof and bottom and do the screws up, i can get pics if you need (gives me an excuse to pull the venetians out again to clean the rear window lol)

thanks for the offer mate, but the next day after i posted it i noticed how to do it

i think the 3.45's would make a pretty good difference.... good balance between good highway cruising and off the line :P

i cut it back, its not the hsv style cai its the normal one with the tiny opening that wouldnt even be able to fit a fly thru so i cut it back to get max air thru and it has made a massive improvement over what it was so im happy, besides i dont really care what it looks like as long as it works

that's alright, ive seen people short out things after they have been to the carwash, drive around for a day then doesn't start....

It makes a big difference in how the cars projected, makes it look like its been taken care of.
