He forgot to mention it pings at 5500 now, the old ute just couldn't take the extra 2 degrees over the base tune we made so it's going back to how it was above 5000 on the original tune. I heard a rumour it's going on the dyno next week too (a realistic one)!?> shock horror, it must be over the border in Vic

i got new tyres for the ute today as the others got left behind somewhere...
suprisingly they are a very sticky tyre for $180 fitted and balanced each, i can actually use first gear now!
next set ill be getting 255/40/18's cos i will have extended my rear wheel arches by then if i dont have a slack attack between now and then
bit of an update, fitted another tune greenfoam sent me with a little bit less timing... happily revs to 6200 rpm now as it was pinging before

next thing to do is get a decent stall converter cos this one i ahve now isnt doing what it should be doing.
all its doing now is acting like a clutch pedal ....and its dropping at about 4000 rpm which results in wheelspin when im not concentrating on what my right foots doing![]()

well by having a smaller stall converter i can also use the torque the motor makes without revving the ****er out of it to make it go

well i went for a drive with STOCKIES on tonight.... i was almost crying from laughin so hardzero traction... its very very very REDICULOUS to say the least
going to perfect the art of circle work later on tonight on my mates cement pad on his propertyshould be fun and i can test out what my cooling systems like now with the AU twin thermos
wont b from close up tho cos they gotta be back from the action so the coppers dont get all nerrrrr about it endangering lives and stuff which has happened before
had a power run done today... makes 212rwkw at 5600 rpm and a shoitload of torque between 3000-4000 rpm, smoked the wheels on the rollers before they strapped it down cos theres no weight to keep the wheels from spinning
its got about what i was hoping for before the charger goes on
will upload a photo of the dyno sheet when i get home cos i dont ahve the cable for my phone with me in adelaide

Anything new happened to this beast? Got the charger on yet....
not alots been goin on with it lately, been sitting in the shed since September last year. plans kinda got put on hold cos i bought a house in june last year... but it does need a new trans before anything major happens to the motor!
been eyeing off a low mount turbo setup tho....one day haha
